Picture a cymbal-banging monkey...

That is what is happening in Lisa's brain right now.

She feels as if she hasn't retained anything her language professor has taught her in the past few hours.

It's the first day of classes!

Lisa thought that they would do a course overview and that would be it, she wasn't expecting a whole three hour long freaking lecture.

Her language professor must be a masochist.

She took languages because she thought that knowing how to communicate in some of the most used languages around the world would help with her future photography career.

She wasn't expecting to be thrown into the wolf's den.

As soon as she and the other students walked into the class, the professor started talking to them in English which is the language they're learning first.

If you would ask Lisa, she would say she's okay in English, but not nearly as fluent as she is in Thai and Korean.

Simply put, the Thai native was overwhelmed. She was not prepared for actual lessons.

She didn't even take her backpack with all her textbooks and binders in it!

She basically sat in her seat the whole class, panicking, and trying to avoid the professor's gaze. Her mind gave up on her at the hour and a half mark.

Lisa now stands outside the door to her classroom while all the other students are dispersing around her.

She feels discombobulated after that class.

She only has one more to deal with today and then she's done. Thankfully, her Mondays aren't jampacked with courses.

She looks at her smartwatch and sees that the time is 11:30a.m.

Her next class isn't until 2:30p.m., so she has some time to kill beforehand. She pulls out the school map from her back pocket, trying to find the route to the campus café. She can definitely use a little pick-me-up right now.

As she's perusing the map, she hears a cheerful voice shouting at her from a distance. "Yah! Lalisa!" The Thai beauty lifts her head up, trying to locate the origins of the melodic call.

She notices Rosé a few feet away, skipping down the hall in Lisa's direction. "Yah! Park Chaeyoung!" Lisa shouts back, excited to see that Rosé is still talking to her despite the debacle with Bambam this morning.

Before Rosé even stops in front of Lisa, the Thai is already apologizing on behalf of her best friend. "Rosé, I'm so sorry for how Bambam acted this morning! I honestly don't know what got into him. He's never usually like-" Lisa's is cut off by Rosé, who begins to chuckle at her adorable rambling.
