Community East

2 days before ( Intro)

My name is Aria. Aria Currling. I'm a ballerina and a I knit blankets because I don't know why but I love blankets. I live in Community East. There are 5 communities. Community East, West, North, South , and Danby. In Community East we focus on intelligence. West is about Bravery and strength.North is about Love and hope. South is all about the food and care of the land. Danby is were our leaders live. There is main leader. Every year we get a new main leader. This year'a name was Marcys and Carolite. On January 1st everybody votes and that night at 12:00 is when our new one is announced. December 31st we are announced our jobs for the community. December 30th we take our tests. Anyway in Danby each community has 2 core leaders. 1 boy and girl who are forced to get married. One community wins the election and they're not allowed to vote for they're own community. The old leaders are taken care of by maids until they die in Danby left. Danby main is were leaders stay. Danby right is were core leaders stay.  I'm really really nervous for the test. It will decide my job for my life. The  worst part about the job test is you can't change it. Since I live in Community East out society is all about intelligence. A job is how you present yourself.  What if I get stuck with cleaning lady , or maybe a birth mom. I don't know if I could be a birth mom. I mean they give babies to the people who can't. I just don't think I'm cut out for that job. The birth moms live in Danby at least. Plus the birth moms are very respected for what they do. The cleaning ladies aren't as respected. The plus side to this all is after 3 years of a job like that you can marry and rely of your husband. Then you are known as a house wife. My mother was a house wife. My dad is a car mechanic. He is very respected because he can fix a car in a couple of hours. Anyway I need to get to bed soon but before I do I'm sneaking downstairs to get a cookie. As I sneak downstairs.I can hear my parents and my dad doesn't sound happy at all. They're yelling. She can't be a birth mom she can't be like u. I can't believe my ears. Did my dad really just say that! What a total jerk. I run back upstairs quietly. I just thinking OMG. I cry myself to sleep. I know I'm not gonna be ok until I take the test. I need to get a good job to please my father. If not he will probably never forgive me and be mad at me forever. I have 3 older siblings.2 sisters and 1 brother. My oldest sister Carolina is a layewer. My oldest and only brother Nicoposis is a birth dad who you know help gives birth. My other sister Georgian is a nurse. I can't fail or my parents will kill me.
