Day :3 scars 
Yami and Charlotte week

The relationship between the Diamond Kingdom and Clover was tense despite the fact that armistice agreements were concluded between them, so the borders had to be carefully monitored, Julius had heard rumors that some soldiers from the Diamond Kingdom would infiltrate Clover through the Greater Mana region, Julius did not want to pre-empt events and to make things tense  again between the two kingdoms without evidence.

The area was dangerous, Julius could not send anyone there, and he wanted to keep it a secret, so Yami was now in that area for 3 days, watching the situation.

He grumbled as he drank the last drop of his wine he had brought and growled angrily, he sometimes hated his position as the captain of a magical squad, he instead of now being in his bathroom to spend his own time , or drinking in the bar with Jack he now watched alone.

He stood as they stretched his body and tried to keep these thoughts out of his head, as he is a squad captain who must do everything in his power to protect the kingdom.

Then everything happened so quickly , he sensed by ki  the presence of some people here,  it seemed they using something to hide their magic power and not be detected.

He pulled out his sword to attack but suddenly different kinds of magic were directed at him to attack him, he tried to block it and absorb it into the black hole but it was so many attacks and from different places he couldn't locate each of them
his body injured him a lot, he snarled angry and the blood oozing from his body , he wouldn't let villains like these defeated him, he closed his eyes and focused to know the source of the attack,
He knowing the source of 3 attacks, he wielded dark magic through his sword and sent strong blows towards them in succession, although he was injured while striking, but he did not give up.

He managed to defeat 3 of them and they fell dead, and it seems that this caused panic among the rest and made them withdraw quickly.

Yami smiled before collapsing on the ground, his body was hurting so much and he was bleeding from everywhere, he somehow managed to lean on a rock and try to catch his breath.

He was looking around at the dead soldiers on the ground, which made him think: " Will it be his end here? No one knows that he is here , and  some of his injuries is serious and not allow to him to leave this area.

he smiled sarcastically How fate brought him alone to a strange country and now he may die alone, All he could think of now was his  stupid squad members , were they would be okay?  And can they take matters into their own hands? It is true that they have developed and their strength has increased, but he still sees them as children who need more care" .

Suddenly He felt heaviness in his eyes and they would close before he came to his mind with a fantasy of a girl with blond hair and an icy face that suddenly blushes when he teased her,
he smiled at the memory, why does he remember her ?  Is it because he really wanted to see her for the last time, he until this moment does not know why he is bothering her, but he loved seeing her reactions and the permanent redness of her cheeks, maybe she hated him but he didn't care because he was happy that she was close to him.

Suddenly he heard the sound of footsteps walking close to him, he tried to open his eyes with difficulty, he saw a person approaching him, he was wearing a shiny armor ، The more he approached him, the more clear the picture became, and he was able to distinguish her blond hair, and when she bent down to him, she whispered to him words he could not understand, but he was drenched in the scent of roses coming from her , He always loved this scent.
Was he hallucinating so much about her that he could imagine it here?  , but the electric touch on his hand made him sure it was real ,
"I'm glad you're the one who came to save me Charlotte" , he managed to mutter before losing consciousness.

After a while, Yami seemed to feel his senses returning to him , He felt warmth in the place.
He tried to slowly open his eyes , He saw that he was in a cave with a fireplace near the entrance.

He tried to get up, but his body was too weak to get up, until he felt two soft hands helping him to sit down ,
"Thank you" he muttered, sitting better.
And he was able to see his savior better now and smiled, His eyes may be deceiving him , But he will never go wrong with her Special smell .

Charlotte was looking at him with her icy hard look.
"How did you know where I'm?"  Yami finally asked.
"Julius called me, he was worried about you and asked me to come to check on you, because he had not received any news from you for 3 days, he said that the matter is confidential and he does not want to cause chaos without reason , And when I reached the area, I could feel your magic ".

“That old man, the magic tool were broken due to the great magical power of the area, so I didn’t call him”.
“And as usual, you were reckless and almost killed yourself”, Her tone made him feel that she was really angry.
“What do you want me to do? They hid their magic and were trying to infiltrate the kingdom, and they sneakily attacked me” , Yami said indifferently.

Charlotte sighed , He was right She would have done what he did if she had been in the same situation.
"Ouch!" Yami yelled as he tried to sit up better, but this only made his pain worse.

"Are you okay, you shouldn't move too much now, just rest " He could sense the fear in Charlotte's voice, was she caring for him?  He liked the idea.
"Well, I won't move, I'm really glad you came to save me Charlotte, how can I thank you?".

Charlotte felt blood rushing to her face and her cheeks turned red as she tried to calm down, "There's no need for that, you saved me before, that's the least I can give you" , She managed to say this at last.

"No, I insist, I was going to offer you a drink in the bar, but you're not good with wine".
"No, I'm lightweight" , she whispered shyly.
"So what do you think about eating dinner at the same restaurant you took me to before when we talked about your curse?".

Charlotte tried to control herself , Was Yami asking her out on a date? She shook her head in agreement before whispering,
"But it's an expensive restaurant".
"It's okay, at least I'll spend my salary this time on something good and I love it"  Yami said with a smile on her face.

Charlotte bit her lips and smiled shyly at him ,
“Now go to sleep and rest so we can leave tomorrow” , she whispered to him, holding his hand and helping him lie down.

She was caressing his hair after he fell asleep again, not believing what had happened today. She should really thank Julius for giving her this opportunity.
