i woke up. Again. It was the same thing, over and over again, and it started to drive me insane. I wake up, check my phone, shower, eat, and leave. My name is Ellie, I am 17 years old and i go to churchbrook high school. Its a pretty basic school, basic students, basic teachers, basic everything really. Im only there for the food and music. I play the guitar and have been since i was 5 because my dad did, and ever since he died (when i was 10) ive been playing more and more because it reminded me of him.
First lesson was geography. I swear, whoever made my planner is dead. Ive got no classes with two of of my best friends christina and bella. Ive known christina since i was 3 and met bella in 5th grade.
I know how many people say that trios dont usually 'work out' or something, but everything with us is the best. I live in an ordinary world and in that world god decided i should be with them i guess.Im not one of the popular kids at school. Im usually known as the 'girl who reads' which actually isnt a bad title, considering its true. talking about books...
"crap. science."
i whispered to myself. Science was my next subject, but id completely forgotten about my a book as i was awake all night doing that stupid homework:Anyways, there were these 4 girls who our school called 'the omg girls' which is such a weird name to call a bunch of idiotic women who only exist for one reason- lip gloss. They don't usually bother me, however if you ever see them, i suggest you run. Its not likely you see them being friendly to anyone. Especially not someone at the same standards as me. Baggy jeans, random black tank top and converse just isnt going to cut it for them.
But enough about me blabbering about them, its not like my words can magically change their actions and what they had done to me. They may not bother me now, but a couple years back, a girl called Ruby in that group used to be my best best friend. We did everything together, and our parents were so close. But it came a time when she was having her birthday party, and said she was only celebrating it with her family. Turns out she had a house party with literally 200 people NOT including me. I guess i wasnt cool enough or something, but i really dont need ruby in my life anymore. Ive almost completely forgotten about everything she'd done to me after the party, so that saves me some thinking time.
Apart from that, im living life very well right now. It feels weird to say im obsessed w school at the moment, AND THE TEACHER SAID WE CAN FINALLY USE OUR PHONES DURING LUNCH (about time seeing as i had a council vote about this topic every month for a year) so yay for us! I dont expect to make new friends this yea-
"GUYS, GUYS! its the new year sevenss.." a random kid whispered to his friend, though we all heard him.
"hello" a young boy walked up to me. He was probably about 4 feet tall, maybe a bit higher and looked up at me with a massive smile on his face.
"Oh hello! Do you need any help?" i didnt know what else to say, so i guess this would work.
"i do actually. Where are the toilets? Ive been looking eveeerrryyywhereeeeee." He giggled."I was just about to go there! The girls are on the left side of the corridor by the end, and the boys are on the right." I grinned. He was adorable.
"Thanks! See you again soon!"
and he ran off and that was the last i had heard of him.

[class/school finishes]I sit on the bench, waiting for bella and christina whilst thinking about the boy i had met during the morning. Why ask me? What did he see about me that was different? I was probably the closest. But i dont know, his voice, his appearance, his shoes, i knew this boy from somewhere, and that wasnt school. But what? I had no idea, but as soon as checked the time bella and christina ran up to me.
"we looked eveeerywhereee for you el!" bella groaned.
"Its fine, we just has graphic, and shes really grumpy because her finished
result turned out horrible." Christina explained.
"oh my god bella i thought you LOVEDD graphic?" She hated it, and she knew i knew that.
"Dont be like that El, you know you love it too!!!"
and we all laughed.
Graphic was one of the worst subjects i have ever experienced. Glad id already finished that for the year. We walked home together, and went our ways. Luckily, me and chris live on the same road, so its super easy for us.Today was different. It didnt feel like a first day of school. It felt like- like-
WAIT.
I KNOW WHERE I MET THAT BOY FROM.
HE MUST HAVE RECOGNIZED ME TOO.
IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE.
IT JUST COULDNT BE.
