in the original timeline, Ana Lewis would save Duke and revealed that Ana was kidnapped by his brother Rex by giving her Nanomites to become the Barenoss, James Mccullen would try to stop Duke with a Flamethrower Gun at him but was burned easily.

However in this alternate timeline of the story, Mccullen would shoot Duke in the head with his Gun instead of a Flamethrower killing him for good and Ana Lewis would died with the Nanomites eating her alive instantly, her body was dissolved leaving her clothes empty on the floor (Duke would die early in this story almost like G.I. Joe Retaliation one but in a different way) Duke was dead and Ana Lewis aka Barenoss was dead too and Rex and James would even decide bomb the base and kill all the Joes as they get away with submarine along with the Neo-Viper Soldiers.
