My eyes can't take off the greenery-covered headland of white cliffs. Above is the clear blue skies. Blustering wind slapped my face. Bumuntonghininga ako.

Hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala na sinabi sa'kin ni Sir Eurus ang nararamdaman niya.

I could literally jump off this white cliff out of convulated situation between us! Neither I can even acclimate nor inhibit the gauche feeling...

My eyes fell on the grass when I heard a backhanded chortle from behind. Shit.

“Sa halip nagtatrabaho ka, nakuha mo pang tumambay dito? Ano ka...senyorita?” si Miss Olivia.

Dahan-dahan pumihit ang aking nanghihinang paa paharap sa kaniya. Umangat ang mata ko rito. Her ablazing eyes and vertical wrinkles appear between her eyebrows.

My face flushed. Ayoko ng gulo sa panibagong araw na ito. Ayokong makipagtalo sa kaniya kung sakali na bumwelta siya. Dahil hindi ko sigurado kung...palalampasin ko pa siya.

“Akala mo ba ay hindi ko alam na...nagtapat sa'yo ang boyfriend ko noong isang gabi, ha?” She tries to mask anger but she draw her lips in tight, then smile. “Impeccably slut!”

It was like power drill in my head, vociferously perturbing! Now, the serene ambience a while ago turned utterly atrocious.

My arms crossed over my chest. My face adopt an stoic expression. “I didn't know that the kind of manager we have has no erudition and somewhat...impeccable chagrin?”

Her eyes widen and starts doing vague gestures. She quickly adopt a contemptuous expression to brush off her surprise. Hindi mo inaasahan na sasagot ako? Tanga.

“Anong sinabi mo? Are you simply saying that I'm no literate?! That I'm a disappointment?! Huh!” marahas siyang nagbuga ng hangin.

My lips form a false smiles. Nagtitimpi lamang ako patulan siya noong mga nakaraan. Kahit papaano ay may utang na loob ako sa kanila ng pamilya niya dahil tinulungan nila ako. Pero sobra na ang pang-aalipusta niya!

Her eyelids become squinted. Eyes are afiring as if she wants to burn the hell out of me.

“How dare you say that to your boss! So you know now how to give a damn?!”

My teeth gritted. Halos manginig ang laman ko sa pagpipigil ng inis.

“I fathom your previous hubris towards me, Miss Olivia. But this time... I think I need to decrypt your attitude.”

Her gawk did nothing to make me stumble in my stance. Lahat ng ugali ng tao ay may hangganan. Kapag sinagad ng iba, kailangan ng patulan.

In my case, I had enough. Her cranky attributes pulled the trigger that rests within me. Dangerous woman is a silent woman too.

Her fists clenched tightly beside her curves. Invisible shining daggers were thrown at me.

I am shielded enough to pass through her daggers. It made no sense. I wasn't even move.

Her brows furrowed, like an angry bird. I feel so inundate. She inserted an effort to show me how badass she can be in terms of love. What an irksome she is?

Ako na ang nag-iwas ng tingin nang maramdamang hindi niya ako tatantanan. Kulang na lamang ay paghaluin niya ang langit at lupa.

“Babalik na po ako sa trabaho...gaya ng gusto mo.” sinubukan ko siyang lampasan ngunit marahas niyang hinawakan ang braso ko.

She gnashed her teeth when I returned my eyes back to her. Her face displays bleakness. Lihim akong napangiti. Habang tumatagal, mas lalo kong nakakabisa ang ugali mo, Olivia.
