Aang sighed as he turned away from the school hall, Katara had told him she'd rather go to the dance with someone mature. Zuko wasn't mature, he made a HUGE deal of everything, and was always ranting about something!
Aang slumped against the side of the building disheartened, he turned his head as he heard raised voices and crying, a minute later Toph ran into view and slumped near Aang. "You've been outcasted by the person you wanted to go to to the dance as well haven't you?" Asked Aang.
"You have no idea Twinkle Toes, Sokka decided to go with Suki, I should have seen it coming!" Laughed Toph whilst wiping away tears. Suddenly Aang noticed something, Toph looked beautiful her hair was loose and wavy and she was wearing an emerald green dress that brushed her knees. Aang grinned, "Toph Beifong may I have this dance?"
Toph chuckled, "Yes you may Avatar Aang!"
The two stood up and with the music from inside the hall blasting in their ears they began to dance, spinning and leaping all over the courtyard, Toph began to use earthbending moves in the routine and they both began to use acrobatic stunts. Slowly, more and more people began to leave the dance hall to see what was going on outside and by the end when Toph and Aang sprang into the air, the hall was empty. Toph and Aang were pleased to see Katara and Sokka staring on in disbelief and regret. "Big finish!" Whispered Aang. Toph nodded and they kissed.
