This is... wrong.

Her skin feels too tight. Her body too small. And she's full. Too full. Almost as if she could burst. There's a prickling heat coiling in her abdomen, spreading. Warm becomes warmer, hot, and then scorching. Blistering. An acidic heat bubbles just beneath the surface of her skin, forming painful lumps and blisters before breaking through, leaving angry raw burns behind. A slimy red substance oozes like pus from the wound, spreading... except it isn't pus. It isn't a liquid or a gas, nor even a solid. It's some sort of dark red light—an energy she's never seen before.

Chakra, a voice whispers as she screams her throat into further agony. But is it chakra? Is it really? It's too much. It's unlike any chakra she's ever felt. The corrosive chakra coats her throat, tainting her shrieks of pain into an eerie mix of human and... something else.

She's bursting at her seams. Flesh, melting—-unraveling—-coming undone. She's being unmade by this terrible creature and remade into something else, someone else.

Silver.

Yellow.

Red.

She has to survive.

There are people waiting for her.

She has to survive.

She needs to go home.

She has to survive.

The corrosive chakra knits flesh, and blood, and bone back together. The hole in her heart fills. The void in her chest mended.

Rin reaches for light.

Her hand halts.

No.

No.

Nonononon——

ShE cAn't gO bAcK.

sHe CaN't gO HoMe.

(Home.

She wants home.

She wants—-)

Nononono.

I can't go home.

I can't go home. I'm not safe. They did something to me.

(She has to survive.)

Let me die.

(She has to survive.)

Please... Let me die.

(She wants to live.)

The chakra twists, braiding severed nerves and tendons back together.

Let us die.

The chakra heals an unwilling host.

Let me go.

It clings to life.

So.

She.

Lets.

Go.

Rin reached for the light... but chose to fall into darkness instead.

The chakra reels back, suddenly aware of their host's empty shell.

Kyu would break free.

Kyu would run wild.
