You push by a man, trying to get to a nice colored leaf on a tree behind him. You've been stuck in an amnesia loop, making you just hopelessly wander the vast multiverse. Now you just collect little Knacks and write stuff on your body to remember things in fear you'd forget again. The man growls, before barking.

"Excuse you, mortal. It'd be in your best interest to kneel." Loki said, scepter in hand, looking at you. Your jacket's hood hid your face, you barely glanced back and kept walking. He grabs your arm, "I said Kneel! I am a god, you will not ignore me!" He demands. You look up at him closely. That's when he saw your eyes.

They were pupil-less with a solid gold tint at the moment, before turning a different color, You had the god Flustered. You glance down to his hand still holding your arm, "Can you let me go?" You just say simply, as if he didn't forcibly grab you.  "What are you?" He asks, still entranced by you.

You slightly tilt your head, "you said I was a mortal." You say, not filling knowing yourself. "You don't look like a mortal. You don't act like one either, are you sure you aren't lying to me? Lying to the gods is a sin you know." Loki says, "Guess we'll never know then." You say.

"Where I come from, an Assault of the gods is a crime," Loki says slyly, looking at your arm. "I suppose I'll have to take you into my custody won't I?" He adds.

1 1/2 Months Later

Your hand reaches for a spine of a book, only to be stopped by a cold hand. "Ah, Ah, Ah. We haven't finished our Midgaurdian poetry." Loki says you smile a bit before saying "This is for my downtime. I wouldn't miss out on Robert Frost." You say, he smirks back and takes the book from you.

"in that case, I'll hold it for you. Perhaps we could add it to our stack?" He asks. "I'm not sure you'll like this one." You say embarrassingly. "How come?" Loki questions, opening the book. "You don't need to-" you begin, he moves the book above your head, "what is it with you mortals and greed?" He teases.

You huff, as he takes a glance at the back. It was a romance. You thought he'd scoff and tease you for weeks. You had followed him back to Asgard that day, he might've been saying he forced you- but really- you were bored. And it was a new adventure. You hadn't been to Asgard before then.

He blushed a bit before glancing at you, "perhaps we could pin the poetry and read this tonight?" He asks. You blushed more and said "Really? I didn't think you'd like that genre." You question, "Well, I always like to read new things or sorts.." he said looking to the floor. "Well, thanks for giving it a try for me." You say sweetly.

As you two walked down the hall, Sif gave a dirty look to you both,
Making you look to the floor in shame. Loki Furrows his brows and grabs your chin, making you look up. "Eyes up, darling." You blush but continue walking with him. All this time with Loki, and you never took off the hood of your jacket.

Knock. Knock-knock.

That was yours and Loki's special knock. It was to tell the other it was them, you both didn't really like the castles other roommates- so you made up this little signal. You knock in response on the wall.

Knock. Knock- Knock.

Loki opens the door, hearing the right response. He held the book you had chosen earlier in his hands, "Are you ready Rabbit?" He asks, that was another of the nicknames he had given you. "Of course." You say, he smiles and joins you in your bed. "I was- thinking- would you like to read it aloud?" Loki purposes.

Slightly surprised, you respond "Sure." With a light blush covering your cheeks. You begin to read the prologue. You hadn't noticed him lay down and stare at you as you read him the book. Time flew by fast as you two stayed in the comfortable companionship of one another.

"Oh." You suddenly interrupted. "You have a courtship tomorrow, I'm sorry. I got carried away in the story.." you apologize. "No, it's alright, You chose a great book Y/n." He smiles. You save the bookmark and close it, setting it beside you on the bed stand. "Go sleep." You insist.

He wishes you goodbye before leaving for his quarters. You begin to take off your jacket and such. Leaving you in a little silk black dress. One of Loki's handmaids gave you little gifts here and there. They said it was because you kept him off their backs. You'd usually awkwardly accept.

You lay in your bed blankly, hugging a pillow. You never knew why you did that- perhaps it was the lack of contact you received with people. You were very touch starved, yet feared the collisions. You assumed you had been thinking a while, but you were interrupted by a footstep.

You turned around to see Loki, sneaking into your room, now looking at you. He flinched as you made eye contact. This was the first time he saw what you looked like clearly. You could tell he was as hungry as you. "Come here.." you say lightly. He slowly listens, as you took your hand for him to grab. He finally did, so you pulled him into bed next to you.

Loki was flustered and was about to speak when he saw you laying against him, your breath steady enough for you to even be sleeping. He just pulls the covers over himself as well and cuddles closer. Loki kisses your forehead before falling asleep himself.

Morning

You wake up slowly to feel cold, you didn't mind you liked it that way. It oddly was refreshing to you, something under you felt nice. You hug the cold thing, just wanting a few more minutes. A few seconds later you open your eyes.

Loki was laying there with you, you blush intensely, as you make eye contact. You flinch and hide in the covers as instinct. You cursed yourself for digging yourself deeper into this hole. "I'm sorry." He speaks up. You peek from the blankets.

"Why?" You say looking to the floor. "Are you?" He questions, "No..." you say. "Then- I suppose I'm not either," Loki says, looking up. After a moment of silence, he begins to pet your hair. "Your hair is particularly soft, darling," Loki says, smirking.

"I wish you would've taken off the hood ages ago, why hide such a beauty from me?" Loki asks, finally finding his fingers on your chin and making you look at him. You blush, but let it happen. "You know, you never paid your debt to me. Perhaps your punishment could be re-arranged." Loki teases.

He pushes his head into the crook of your neck, beginning to kiss you gently.

"Thank you for staying with me, Y/n."
