White froth hits the sides of the ANTI-JUSTICE as it drifts through the sea at a calm pace.  The sun sits just below the horizon, which illuminated the sky with a deep orange glow. An icy wind blows along the ocean surface, along with the random sprays of cold seawater, adding to the tranquility of the early morning and giving the air a light salty fragrance. The ship was mostly empty, except for the Captain who had been steering the ship for just over a couple of hours. The wind hit her face and almost blew her hat off but she never batted an eyelid. Instead, she breathed in the breeze and smirked while tightening her grip on the wheel. She sang along to a song that had been stuck in her head since they left the small Island of Trovian Trails, a tiny tropical island where the people there grew herbal medicines and fruit. It was a peaceful island, violence was non-existent and the people were always welcoming. It was nice to pay the occasional visit.

"Here's a health to the company, And one to my lass, Let us drink and be merry, All out of one glass~" The soft melody echoed across the empty ship, causing her to sound louder than her voice actually was.

The S.S ANTI-JUSTICE was a rather small ship. It had been made out of the finest obsidian coloured wood there was and the rims had been lined with fine silver. The sails were a mixture of purple and yellow while the windows were light green. The name of the ship had been painted in cursive along the side in a light turquoise colour. The nose of this ship had been sharpened to a point, and skulls with horns had been carved into the sides. The flag wasn't raised, which wasn't a surprise, it was only raised when the ship was in pursuit or battle. Ayla 'Mocking Jay' Fleet-foot was the Captain of this fine vessel, and the youngest pirate captain to ever exist. At just 16, she had built quite a name for herself alongside her best friend and First Mate, who was resting up in the crow's nest. Kiki, a bight fair maiden who had been with her for as long as she could remember, was the First Mate. She was often found in her sleeping quarters or the crows' nest, if she wasn't there she was normally with the Captain. Ayla looked up and watched as the spearhead-shaped tail hanging from the crow's nest swayed gently in the breeze along with a few strands of honey-coloured hair. The captain continued to sing, closing her eyes and letting herself get lost in the ocean breeze.

"Let's drink and be merry, All grief to refrain, For we may or might never, All meet here again~" The ship swayed from side to side, gaining speed as the sun rose higher.

"Lovely weather, ain't it Captain?" A rather relaxed voice rang out from the crows' nest above, stopping Ayla from singing the next verse.

The Captain looked up at the crow's nest, slightly surprised at the sudden voice. After a moment she let out a chuckle and shifted her eyes back to the horizon as the breeze blew her long coat around wildly.

"aye, fine weather it is, and at this rate, we'll be hittin' Envy soon, but the S.S Frontier was reported lurkin' around the north end of it so we should steer clear of that side" She called out to the girl with confidence laced in her voice, but also a hint of concern as she wasn't really in the mood for any type of combat.

The two were heading to the mainland, Redonia, a town of about 8,000 people. It was a large trading town, with No violence or scrutiny of any kind, but only because people were afraid to cause any commotion. Pirates from all across the seven seas would often go there to rest and to stock up on supplies. It was the Pirates that essentially ran the place. They often plundered and took whatever they wanted. No one dared stop them except Kiki and Ayla, who were the only pirates ever to be favored in Redonia. They posed no threat to the townspeople, they were kind and often helped the townsfolk. They had no interest in hurting those who often took care of them.

"How much longer till we hit land?" Kiki's head pops out from over the edge of the crows' nest, her tail no longer visible. Her long hair blows about in the wind, revealing the two long horns sticking out of her head. "I'm not sure if my ginger beer supply will keep me going till we hit Redonia"

"y'know, you really gotta ease up on the intake" Ayla sighed and shook her head, straightening up the ship. "it's not good for you"

"and why would I wanna do that?"

"I don't feel like diving into the ocean to save you if you decide to take a swan dive off of the poop deck because you're drunk off your ass" Ayla laughed, giving Kiki a cheeky grin. "The water messes up my coat"

"Then just take the coat off ya dodo, anyway, when do you think we'll hit land?" The girl looked out onto the horizon, whether to look for land or to just enjoy the view Ayla couldn't quite tell.

"we'll probably make it there by about noon, but that's only with no interruptions" Ayla bit her lip as she noticed giant stone pillars begin to emerge in the distance, notifying that they were nearing the border.

Two large stone arches come into view, one with half of the arch broken away. It was the border between the Gluttony sea and the Envy sea, one of the safer borders that weren't too active. "would ya look at that, we're almost there." She smiled and let go of the wheel, walking to the back of the quarter deck. "YO KIKI! YA MIGHT WANNA HOLD ONTO SOMETHIN'!!" She bellowed as she looked up at the First Mate who was smiling devilishly back at her.

"oh this is gonna be great!!" Kiki stood up as quickly as she could and held onto the edge of the crows' nest, careful not to break it due to her super-strength.

Ayla closed her eyes and placed her hands over the back of the boat, breathing deeply. In an instant, her eyes open and a bright green light illuminates from them, as does her hands which are covered with an ominous mist. A small gust of wind rises from beneath her and her hat flies off her head and onto the floor. The ocean is still for a moment, but then it starts to bubble, more and more until the entirety of the area behind the boat is bubbling away. Ayla brings her hands to her chest for about four seconds and then pushes them out with all her might. Instantly, the boat begins to rocket across the water at unimaginable speeds. Ayla grunts as she focuses on keeping the boat steady from the oncoming waves.

"WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" Kiki screeches, laughing as she is tossed around in the nest.

It only takes about a minute before the boat stops abruptly in front of the now gigantic stone arches. Ayla groans as the light fades from her eyes and the mist dissipates from her now shaking hands. The boat rocks and sways as it struggles to centre itself. Before Ayla can breathe she grips the steering wheel and steadies the ship, grunting as her arms start to throb. Kiki stares at her with concern and begins to climb down, reaching the deck in about ten seconds flat. She walks over to the Captain, who is now leaning against the wheel in exhaustion.

"you alright?" Kiki pats the girl on the back, a sympathetic look in her eyes.

"I'm good, can you go tidy up the barrels?" Ayla smiles, shaking off any signs of fatigue.

Kiki nods and begins to move around the barrels that had been blown out of place from Ayla's blast. Ayla exhales deeply and steers the ship through the arches and out into the Envy sea. the sun kisses the horizon sweetly, letting the sky grow brighter by the minute. Ayla smiles.

"Let's get to Redonia~"
