*Anabelles POV*
It was a warm winter day in San Diego, California. Ironic, huh? I was heading to work in my black high waisted shorts, a teal blouse tucked into them, and my black Vans. I had worn a necklace that had a small hourglass on it and a teal ring on my pointer finger. My hair was straight with a few big curls on the bottom that matched up with my waist. My hair was also Teal and white. Could you tell i liked the color? My transportation was my 46" bamboo pintail longboard. Zumies wasnt far from my loft so i liked riding my board. I finally arrived, walked in and was greeted with a surprise party. "SURPRISE ANABELLE!" Today was my birthday, February 10. My storemates were like my family. My bestfriend owned the store and he was always there for me. "Hey Mac, who's idea was it to do this for me?"
"Gahh, Im guilty!" He pulled me into a bear hug.
He smelled like the Old Spice "Swagger" body spray i got him.
"Like the body spray I got you?" I questioned.
"Actually, yeah." He told me with enthusiasm.
"Glad you like it" I replied.
I walked over to Marissa and Gabe and gave them a huge bear hug as well. "Thanks guys, I really appreciate you remembering my birthday and actually throwing me a party" I thanked them.
"No problem Anabelle" Gabe smiled.
"Yeah babes, we love you too much to forget" Marissa explained.
A few minutes later we all had icecream cake, my favorite. My family treats me so right!
*5 HOURS LATER*
It was 2:30 and my shift had ended, I packed up my stuff, hugged them all goodbye, and I was on my way. I got on my longboard and pushed, I cruised my way around the block and suddenly got distracted, looked behind me, and ran into someone in front of me. "God dammit Anabelle, you clumsy shit" I thought to myself. I started apologizing and looked up. His beautiful brown eyes, dark chestnut colored hair, and the way he was holding my arm stopped me in my tracks. He was beautiful, and he caught me before i fell on my ass.
