"Damnit!" Raji's mom Dajara cursed out loud looking at the eviction notice. This was the third one she's recieved this year. Although, the manager found some sympathy for Dajara and her daughter Raji, she could no longer let them pass by or she would be fired.
" Lord! I can't manage with all of this, I'm dying *snif* and trying to take care of my little Raji, but i can't do it with all of this extra weight on me." Daraji said as she sat on the bed looking at the eviction notice. "
" What am I gonna do lord? Please watch over my daughter, because I know my time is coming very soon and she has no one else to help her or take her in. I know my Raji Rose is stronger than anyone in this world," Daraja smiled " Thats how I raised her, but I just pray that you keep my daughter in your watch and just look over her for me."
Daraja rose up off the bed and went into Raji's room where she saw her beautiful daughter sleeping on the mattress that lied on the floor. Daraji knew that she and her daughter didnt have the perfect life, but she broke her back EVERYDAY to make sure that her daughter was taken care of .
Standing in the door way, Daraji started to whisper a sweet lullaby to her beautiful daughter " Don't worry my dear, mommy is always gonna be near. Don't you ever feel that i'm not there, because you're mommy's piece of air. I know that times are gonna be hard, but always remember to talk to the lord. Mommy's little rose is sure to grow even in the rain, sleet, or snow. You shine so bright that and I want you to know Mommy loves you so much and will NEVER let you go." Daraja sniffled as she finished her lullaby.
As Daraja stood up to go and take her medicine, Raji rose up and said, " That was beautiful mommy and always remember that I love you more than I love anything.'' Turning around Daraja and Raji both giggled and embraced each other in a warm hug.
" I love you more baby and thank you my Rose, Go on to sleep now you have school in the morning." Daraja Said.
"Okay Mom Goodnight." Raja said
Daraja soon returned to her room and went to wash off, as she got out the shower, she looked in the mirror noticing that her once beautiful radiant smile, was now become dull and lifeless. Shaking her head , She continued to put on her clothes and go the bedroom. Getting on her knees, she said another prayer for her and her daughter before she got in bed and went to sleep.
