Cave of Sanity
The beast looks around but it doesn't seem like it found out where Ika and Sukomi were hiding, the bird searches through the rocks but then a small rustle of wind passes through Sukomi's ear barely emitting loud sounds. Further observation reveals that this Kruamack tip toes around barely making any sound for a bird of this size while shrieking as a bat.
Sukomi said to himself after witnessing "agile, and extreme adaptation! These birds are not as dumb as they may look. We're looking at some human intelligence right now, this.... is truly terrifying." He saids while trying to hold the urge of running.
But Ika however didn't seem like she wants to stay behind the bolder for any longer, every time the Kruamack gets closer she shakes uncontrollably. Sukomi can tell that She is panicking so he did what's best and pulls Ika close to him,embracing her and see that could calm her nerves. At first it didn't seems like it wasn't working due to her eyes looking to every direction trying to tell where the Kruamack was hiding,
"Calm yourself.....we are okay! We'll be fine.... he won't hurt you!" Sukomi whispers to Ika
soon after he felt that her shaking was a bit calmed, before he knew it Ika heart rate stabilized, a tear runs down her cheek after closing her eyes and patiently they waited for the beast to forget they're presence.
Hours seems to pass, Sukomi wakes up from his nap, it looks like he fell asleep behind the bolder during the whole encounter. He noticed that Ika too feel asleep but on his lap, it looks like her panic stopped. Sukomi probably thinks that is morning outside so all they have to do now is leave this cave and find another way up into the mountain.
Leaving Ika sleeping, he looks over the bolder, is still to dark, they're too deep inside the cave for the light to reach this place. It seems tho that the Kruamack has left the nest cause no large shadows are seen around the corners of the cave's walls.
He left the bolder's safety and investigates the wall where the people are tied up in chains.
On the wall, there were 5 post of chains leading to one side to another, only 3 people are in chains while the last two are recent pile of guts and bone.
One person seems to be awake, raised her head to see that someone I walking towards her. She squirks and tried to scream but Sukomi covers her mouth and said "calm down! I'm not here to hurt you"
At first she did not litsen to him but after Sukomi said "Emely...."
She remains in silence after hearing her own name for so long, she cant see who ever spoke her name due to her own blood bluring her vision.
"Who's that....Kenya? No...Sukomi? How did you find me?"
"I think is best to find somewhere safe before we catch up with each other. A lot has happened" he replied to her while he investigates her restrains, Sukomi asked about how she ended up inside the cave, she responded to him.
"After finishing my route, I've heard a large explosion on the south where you and Kenya decided to explore! I gotten a little worried so I went over and investigate. That's when the large bird snatched me and placed me on cuffs..."
"Pardon? The bird placed you on cuffs?"
Sounds eco the cave, Sukomi quickly removed the shackles from Emely's wrists and quickly takes her behind some debris close to the decomposing corpse. For a while nothing appeared from the darkness, but then someone wearing some long rope appeared. Going straight towards the person in chains. The man was released and taken away to some hidden entrance
