Warriors

Chapter One

It was a fine morning in the desert at a marine base where the new recruits were trained. There was one recruit named Joseph he was the best in all his classes well one day he was at the firing range to train with snipers, he was shooting targets getting bulls eyes every time so he asked his Sargent if he could go farther away then pointed at a ledge that he thought looked perfect. The Sergeant then looked where he was pointing and he said only one person used that ledge for practicing and said you'll have to ask her to use it, thinking the answer was gonna be yes, he was a little shocked. He then asked where she was and the Sergeant said on the ledge shocked he took his binoculars and looked as close as possible and finally found the tip of her rifle, so he started to walk up to the ledge when he got there he couldn't see her, so he quietly asked himself "I wonder where she is." From under the bushes he heard a voice as soothing as a goddess singing, say " be quiet I'm trying to focus " then as quietly as he possibly could he asked "may I use this ledge to practice". Then with an annoyed voice she said "fine but be quiet ", he replied "I'm sorry, I will" he then lied down next to her and took deep breaths to focus on a target. Then, when he fired from the distance he missed her seeing which target he was aiming for she got a bulls eye on it. Amazed he asked her " how do you do that" ,she replied " I don't think of it as a target I think of it as a life that I need to save and the center is the enemies head" he said he would try so he did and she watched through her scope and he got a bulls eye, she didn't show it but she was happy then on the radio I message was said for them to come back. She got up and so did he when he looked at her and saw she was so beautiful that when she asked him why he wanted to come to the Marines he just stared at her then he answered he just wanted to serve his country.
