POV 1
Sinbad
"Hey! Drakon Hinahoho wait up" I called to the two taller men ahead of me as I ran up to them. The two stopped and waited for me to catch up "Sinbad what are you doing here" Hinahoho asked referring to the town part of Sindria. "Oh well Jafar kicked me out of the palace" I said with a shrug "Hm? Why?" Drakon asked joining the conversation.
"He said something along the lines of 'Well if your not gonna do your work, then at least go out into town and see how thing are going there, instead of lying around here and being completely useless!' And then he kicked me out" I finished as I put my hands on my hips, just like Jafar would while yelling at me.
"Yeah that sounds like Jafar" the imuchakk warrior chuckled, at the thought of his adopted son's attitude. "Its getting late we should probably start heading back to the palace" the dragon man suggested "yeah your right, the suns already going down" I commented as I looked at the orange sinking sun in the sky.
The part of the city we where in was near the west side of the beach, very few people lived in this area so it wasn't a surprise when we saw only 3 people, but what was a surprise was when we reached the part of the city where most of Sindria's population lived, it was dead silent, there wasn't a person in site.
"That's weird, where is everybody?" I said, my confusion growing. "I don't know" Hinahoho replied, as he looked left in right, seemingly looking for at least one person.
By the time we reached the palace it was almost dark. I wasn't really surprised when I saw no guards at the entrance, since this was usually the time they switched shifts, and different guards would take their place, so different guards should be here soon.
We entered the palace and headed straight to the dining hall since that's where everyone would be at this time, preparing for dinner. But when we entered the large room there was not a soul in sight, not even the cook's where there. Now I was starting to get a bit weirded out and maybe even a bit concerned.
"Huh? There's no one here?" The blue haired man said in a confused tone. "You know know that I think about it I didn't see anybody in the halls on your way here" Drakon commented. "Well were do you think everyone is" I asked looking up at the two taller men.
"I don't know, why don't we go try and find someone to tell us what's going on" Hinahoho suggested "Yeah let's do that". We walked down the corridor, the only thing illuminating the hall was a small candle I held in my hand. All the other lights seemed to be out so this was our only option. We walked down the hall in pure silence, only the sound of tapping footsteps echoed throughout the halls.
I abruptly stopped as a strange sent hit my nostrils, I knew this sent, I had smelt it before, but it still took me a minuet to recognize the smell. The tangy iron sent of blood.
Hinahoho and Drakon must have smelt it to because in less than a second all three of us where running down the hall in fear of what we might find.
My heart dropped into my stomach as I saw the red liquid stain across the white marble floor. We slowed down and began walking once again cautiously looking left and right every few seconds. The further down the hall we got the more blood there was.
At this point there was blood everywhere, the formally white walls where now stained red with the exception of a few white patches. My eyes where wide with horror as I looked at the mess around me, I didn't have to look back to see Hinahoho and Drakon's faces, I knew what expressions they wore.
We continued walking down the seemingly endless corridor, only stopping to look into the rooms to see if anyone was there, but we found nobody.
After about another minute more of walking I saw something leaning against the wall only a few feet away from us, but it was to dark to see what it was. Slowly I approached it with my two generals right behind me.
Upon closer inspection to my horror I realized it was a body slumped against the wall, their head hung down so I couldn't see their face, but I could see the traditional Sindria clothing hanging loosely on their shoulders, and the red splotches of blood on the cream colored fabric.
I squinted trying to see the person's face but to no avail. I cautiously stepped forward and put my hand and the person's shoulder, the touch caused the unidentified person's head to tilt a bit giving me a good look at their face. When I saw the person's face I gasped and fell backwards absolutely horrified "N-no...".
Dun Dun DAHH
Hello I'm not dead 'shocking isn't it -_-' Honestly I wanted to make this chapter longer but decided to leave it on a cliffhanger.
Now I'm really exited about this story (for reasons I cant explain till later, or else it will spoil the story) so I promise I wont give up on it.
(Also the picture has nothing to do with the story I just thought it looked cool)
But anyways I hope you enjoyed :)
