we walk to a work shop spot "okay so Madi. use becca's memories. see how she did it. say the step and I'll write it down" she started explaining and I wrote everything she said down "Monty you think we can do it" "I already told you, anything is possible"
a few weeks later Madi had taken the flame out and went back into cryo but I had stayed out to help Monty. she told me to wake her when it was time to put it back in her head. I've learned a lot from Monty these last few months and him and Harper are so cute. They've kinda been like my parents. beside O of course. I was working on the other flame while Monty was looking at earth "so what you thinking about mont?" "I don't think the earth will get better in 10 years but I guys we'll see." "you'll know as soon as it's possible I'm sure." "how's the flame coming" I look up from the flame at him "I think I have it." "In just a few months? that's crazy Lilith" "hey I had the best teacher. plus Becca" he laughed. but then got serious "Lilith if this doesn't work. you could die." I take a breathe "check everything again please. I'll go wake up Madi." I walk to the cryo place as Harper walks in "hey lilith how's it coming?" "good I think. I'm going to wake up Madi." "you want me to come?l "no it's okay." I continue walking to Madi , when her bed thing slides out the first thing she says his "is it done" "it's done" I smile and we hug. she stayed out a few weeks so we got close. but she knew Clarke would want her in cryo so she went back in "how long did it take?" "only a few months. almost a year" "that's crazy." "it's crazy to me that I finished it that fast." we started walking to the workshop "Monty, Harper!" she tans and hugs them "it's good to see you madi" Harper says "you too" "we're videoing this right? to show everyone?" "yes are y'all ready?" Monty asks, you could tell he was nervous. we didn't know how this was going to go. "yeah let's start the video" "hey guys I don't know when y'all are gonna see this but Harper Lilith and I didn't go to sleep. Harper and I want a family and Lilith has something she wanted to work on. another flame. and she made it. we woke Madi up for a few weeks but don't worry Clarke she went back to sleep until we finished it. Now it's time to see if the new flame works" I smile at the camera "heyy this is my first time on camera." everyone laughs "heyy me too" madi says "are y'all ready?" Monty ask us "yeah" "let's do it" welaid down on an empty table "ashenda superiors" *I don't know if that's how it's spelt* the flames grew as Monty put one to my head and Harper put one the Madi's head. the flame went in and we passed out. I can hear a bunch of voices. "Lilith. Lilith. Do you hear me?" "lexa. oh my god" I hug my sister, even though it's just in my head it feels so real. "you're going to be a great commander Lilith" "lexa I did terrible things in the bunker, but things I would do again to save my people." "that's something your people needed. now they need you and Madi. two commanders for a new generation. they'll follow you too. you just need to prove to them why they should follow" "I love you lexa" "I love you little sister" and then I woke up and gasped for air. all I could hear was screams in my head causing me to scream "it's all in my head Madi. I hear them." I look and Madi was calm I guess since she's done this before. "Lilith it's okay. try and focus. focus on getting them out of your head." I try and focus and finally they quit "thank you" "of course. I'm guessing this means the second flame is working." "yeah it is." we all walk over to the camera hands on each other shoulders "it worked" "it freaking worked. I designed another flame" everyone laughs "I guess it's time for you two to go back to sleep" Harper says and looks at us. we all start hugging "thank y'all for helping me these last couple of months." "thank you for being like a daughter to me." Harper said, I was glad she felt that way but Octavia is the one who can say that to me. but I just smile "good job kid. you did something some forms people could never do." "thank you Monty I couldn't have done it without you. I hope to see videos of the family when I wake up, okay?" "of course" Harper says and Monty, Harper, Madi, and I all hug "we love you girls" "we love you guys" we say together and walk to the camera "thanks for watching" "yeah thanks for watching I guess" we both laugh "byeee" we said together turned the video off. and had one more hug with Monty and Harper before they walked us to cryo. Madi went first "I'll see you in a bit I guess." "yeah. see ya" she went to sleep and I hugged Monty and Harper one more time not knowing what would happen with the earth or when I would see them again "please video for me" "we will." Harper says "we love you kid" "we really do Lilith" "I love y'all too" and then I was asleep. and this time I was actually a commander. a (brana) *new* commander
