"That's all?"
The woman whispered, clutching the piles of letters in her hands, a few scattered across her lap. Before her was a pink-haired boy, a scar across his face and on the corner of his lip, his eyes dull and dark yet they somehow seemed kind. The boy hung his head, hands clutched on his knees as he uttered, voice barely above a whisper, "That's all. He said to make sure I get these to you."
"Thank you, Itadori-kun," she weakly uttered, slowly gathering the papers together, returning them into the box.
"I'm sorry for your loss," he uttered, stood, gave a deep bow and turned to leave but the woman halted him, "Itadori-kun."
He turned to face her, his eyes pained, "Yes?"
"It wasn't your fault."
His face contorted into one of pain, his eyes glistening as he breathed out, "How could you say that?"
"Sorry?"
"How could you say that to me when you're the one that lost him?"
She smiled slightly at him, "You lost him too."

Hinata couldn't shed any tears.
"Uh, Fudo-san. He said that... He loves you."
"You idiot," she whispered, clenching the bars of the rails on the balcony, "You're too kind for your own good."
If he had told her she would have dropped everything.
If he had told her, she would've accepted him without a thought.
If he had told her, she wouldn't have... Discarded her genuine feelings for him and fell in love with another.
Because Fudo Hinata had loved him too.
