Who are they?

Hiruzen Sarutobi was fed up. He had just found a protégé to the title of Hokage, the young Minato Namikaze and the man died infront of him trying to protect his village from the Kubbi no Youko, and now the 68 year old had to take up the mantle of hokage yet again and he was stuck behind a pile of paperwork waiting for something interesting to happen.

"Hokage-Sama, Hokage-Sama Come quick"

Hiruzen looked to his side and saw Kakashi Hatake, ANBU going under the alias Dog, trying to get his attention "What's the problem Dog," Hiruzen was confused the shinobi world was currently at peace so he was not sure what could have riled up Kakashi this much. But then he felt it two strange power sources coming from the front gate of Konoha, it wasnt particularly strong maybe low chunin level but it was strange, in his 68 years on this planet he had never felt a presence such as these two. Sarutobi immediately jumped out the window of the hokage tower and started making his way to the front gate where another 2 ANBU were waiting, Dog following close behind him.

When he arrived he saw two young children passed out on the road just outside the gate and this is when he realised the two strange powers were coming from the two children laying just in front of him. He walked up to the two and inspected them for injuries before ordering Cat and Dog to carry the two children inside the gates of Konoha. When inside he took them to the hospital for a check up and waited all night inside waiting for just one of them to wake up so he could find out who they were and where they come from.

(TIMESKIP 2 DAYS)

Two days had passed and the old hokage had checked up on the two of them every chance he got, he was currently inside Hokage tower trying to find any evidence on either of them. They were both probably around 8 years old, the boy being roughly 5 foot already which was very tall for his age and the girl only 4 foot tall. The boy had pitch black hair and piercing blue eyes that almost had a flame texture to them, the girl also had black hair (not quite as black as the boy but black) and glazed yellow eyes that kind of looked like a kekkai genkai because of the moon-like pupils inside of them. The two had a kind of strange glow to them that gave them an ominous aura and honestly it scared the old hokage slightly because as they grew older there was no telling what the two of them will be capable of.

"Hokage-Sama the children are awake." stated Kakashi from the window he had just jumped in from.

"Thank you Kakashi ill be right there" and with that Kakashi vanished in a puff of smoke. The old Hokage stood up and began making his way to the hospital room they were staying at. When he arrived what he saw had to be the saddest thing ever, the two children were awake yes but they had tears streaming down their faces and were hugging each other tightly, they were both backing away from the nurses in the room terrified.

"Hey were not gonna hurt you. My names Hiruzen Sarutobi I'm the Hokage of the village, can you tell me your names?"

The boy was the first to speak although a bit shaky "M-My names Keahilani b-b-but you can just call me Keah. And this is Lunar my best friend. umm w-where are we? S-S-Sir" Hiruzen could tell the boy was petrified of the new environment around him and he silently complimented him for being so brave "Your in my village young ones you're safe here this place is called Konoha and your currently in the village hospital. We found you passed out on the road just in front of the gate, do you think you can tell me how you got there." Hiruzen was trying to be careful with and slow with what he said but he needed to get any information at all out of Keah.

"Umm I'm sorry sir I cant remember a thing all I remember is passing out in front of the gate"

'hmm he's telling the truth' those were everyone's thoughts at that moment but what none of them saw was the brief grin that flashed on the face of Lunar....
