If there's something Kageyama loves more than volleyball, that would be her teammates. She cares about them a lot, and she would do anything for them.
But she still likes her old teammates too. She still admires both Oikawa and Iwaizumi. And she still hopes that Kindaichi and Kunimi forgive her, even thought she doubts that could happen.

Kageyama entered the gym. Earlier that day, Daichi had told her he had something important to tell her. Once she entered, she felt the atmosphere drop, she didn't know why. It made her feel really uncomfortable. "Daichi-san, you wanted to speak to me?" she spoke. Said person turned to her. He had a serious look on his face. It worried her.
"Yes. There's no way to sugarcoat this. Kageyama, by an anonymous vote, we have decided to kick you out of the team." he told her. She felt her breath stop. What did he just say? They... They were kicking her off of the team? But why? What had she done wrong? She hadn't done anything wrong, right? She hadn't gone back to her middle school self. Was it because she wasn't good enough? Was it because her tosses weren't as the others wanted them? Why? She needed to know.
"...Why?" she barely managed to elaborate those words. Her voice was so soft and quiet, it sounded like a whisper. This was hurting her a lot. It wasn't fair.
"Because of your selfish, problematic behaviour. We don't want it to happen again." Daichi answered. The setter felt the world stop. Because of her selfish behaviour. They were kicking her off of the team because of what had happened in the past. Bullshit! This was bullshit! She has been trying so long to change, she has been trying to redeem herself only to be stabbed in the back again? She didn't talk back. She couldn't find the strength in herself to argue with the third year captain. She looked at her supposedly called 'teammates'. All of them were looking away, clearly avoiding to make any eye contact with her. Why weren't they saying anything to him? Were they... Were they agreeing with what Daichi had just done?! Why?!
"Why aren't you guys saying anything?" she asked "Please... say something..." she whispered, feeling the tears already starting to peek out. She blinked several times, not wanting to cry right there. The volleyball players remained quiet, feeling a pang of guilt stab them in the chest.
"...So you agree with him?" she questioned, feeling like the knife had just stabbed her again, but two times worse. She hated it. Why weren't they sticking up for her?! This was unfair! She hadn't done anything wrong! She made sure that she adapted herself to what they wanted!
"I-I'm sorry Kageyama..." Noya sighed. The setter just wanted to break down and cry her eyes out at that moment. But she had to stay strong. She didn't want to cry in front of those backstabbers.
"You know what?" she started, and everyone looked at her "You're right. I am selfish and problematic." she spoke, everyone felt the venom in her voice. They were used to it, of course, but this time it was directed to them. The setter grabbed her uniform and threw it on the ground in a mix of anger and sadness. She then turned to glare at them.
"Don't talk to me again. Seeing that I'm not wanted here, I don't think you have the right to ever say anything to me." she growled. Her eyes were cold and icy, and it was like they felt a dagger stab them on the chest, right on the heart. She then turned 180º, walking out of the gym. She slammed the door shut, the sound of the metal closing echoed through the whole building. The crows felt silent. They only had one thing running through their minds. What had they just done to the youngest crow?

Kageyama buried her face on her bed's pillow, bawling her eyes out. What the hell was wrong with them?! Kicking her out of nowhere, right when the Interhigh is near and the chance that they could go to nationals, just because of her attitude?! She left her room, needing to splash water on her face to cool herself down. She entered the bathroom, and inmediately opened the sink. She cupped her hands, letting the cold, fresh water gather on there. She then brought it to her face, letting it sink for a few seconds before the liquid slowly escaped out of her hands.
When she looked at herself in the mirror, she saw her middle school self. In her head rested a tiara, and a red velvet cape rested on her shoulders. The words 'Queen' were right behind her. In rage, she punched the mirror, breaking it in million pieces. The glass shards flew everywhere, one almost hitting her face. Everything was red. She wanted to just give in and scream. Let all of her pain out. But she couldn't, or else the neighbours would complain. She glanced at her fist, which was now full of blood and glass shards. She hissed when she touched it.
That was a bit dumb from her part. She knew not to touch recent injuries unless she wanted to feel pain shock through her body. But could you blame her? She was just done with everything. She wanted to just punch them in the face for what they had done.
"Where the hell is the bottle of soap?" she mumbled, opening the closet above the now broken mirror. She would definitely have to replace it tomorrow. But right now, she had to take care of her injury. She grabbed a pair of tweezers and started to, slowly and carefully, remove the shards that were impaled on her skin. It wasn't the first time she had dealt with any injury before, she knew what to do. She then opened the sink, letting warm water flow down. She started washing the injury with it, visibly flinching when her open flesh connected with the warm liquid. She cleaned it with the help of the water and the soap. She had to get some medical help as soon as possible.
