I didn't even read this one over I just find it too cringe

Dec frowned, "Your job is to PARENT. Pin. Not be her fucking friend." Pin's mouth twitched. "Dec. I love you. But I know what to do. I spent my whole life taking care of someone. I'll never let it get that bad again."

Dec's frown deepened. "No one said you didn't know what to do but not everything applies to everyone. She's 8! And it's midnight. She isn't even supposed to be awake and you're letting her have a fucking cookie."

Pin rolled his eyes, "It's a cookie? What the hell is it gonna do to her? Ruin her life and disable her?? Let her eat the damn thing." Dec's face fell, going silent for a moment before his face scrunched up again. "Oh, my bad. I didn't know you took care of her all day?? Didn't know you tucked her into bed without being asked. Didn't know you fed her every morning. Didn't know you dealt with her school activities. And I ESPECIALLY didn't know you dealt with her at night when she's had sugar she wasn't supposed to have."

Dec folded his arms, "Because I'm pretty sure you just got home. From being gone ALL DAY. Just to come home and allow her to eat sugar at 12 in the morning." Pin's face feel a little bit. "Suddenly since I don't manage her life I can't let her eat a sweet? I don't control her every move and suddenly I'm the bad guy for letting her live? I'm not letting my child be a shut-in like you were. Don't project onto her just because your life was strict.

Dec's eye widened and his lips curved into a smile. "A shut-in? Pin I was ABUSED my whole childhood what the fuck? My bad for having rules on when to not EAT SUGAR. And the whole "I'm projecting bit" is kinda sounding a bit like you right now. "I've taken care of someone my whole life." Good for you but that doesn't mean let your kid do whatever the hell they want. Not everyone gets to have what they want and you epsically should know what they feels like since you didn't even get time to live your life freely without worrying for another."

Pin went to open his mouth and Dec walked away to the kitchen, bringing back the cookies and shoved it into Pin's chest. Making Pin's smile finally fade. Dec made one last remark, "You wanna let her eat cookies so bad then eat it with her." He walked away to go into their bedroom, already pissed enough as is.

Pin placed the cookies down, "Don't fucking walk away from me. We aren't finished yet." Pin quickly walked after Dec, which led to Dec screaming at him.

Mia cried and sniffled in her room. Covering her head with her pillow she thought she was to blame. Maybe if she didn't eat the cookie like her dad told her not to they wouldn't be arguing. She felt like it was all her fault. She got up and wiped her eyes to run into their bedroom.

Her little feet were noticeable enough to see from behind the door. Dec covered Pin's mouth and stopped yelling himself. "Shut up she's behind the door." He whispered. Dec opened he door to a crying child. He kneeled down to pick her up and rub her back. "I-I'm sorry I didn't e-even want the cookie! It was just a stupid cookie please stop yelling. I'm scared!"

Dec kissed her on the forehead. "Stop crying alright. We'll stop. Right Pin." Pin smiled again, for the sake of Mia. "Yeah, we're sorry alright. We didn't mean to scare you. It was a disagreement we had alright? Don't cry."

The rest of the night was spent assuring Mia that they weren't gonna argue anymore until she eventually and finally fell asleep. Dec tucked her into bed and stood up. Shipping his face of the tear streaks he had. He looked back to see Pin standing in the doorway, face still not fully in a smile. Dec's face turned into anger. He exited the room and pulled Pin out of the doorway, closing the door gently. "You bring up my home life again and I'm divorcing you." With that Dec walked off to finally go to bed.

Pin was left speechless. Well, he wasn't speechless. But there was so much to say that he didn't know what to say. All over a stupid cookie.
