Part 7: Present

"Appa, Why are you on the couch?" Hana asked, crawling up into her Appa's lap. Jimin sheepishly smiled as he helped her up and held her.

"You see, appa told a friend of his that he was not allowed to meet you guys and Eomma got really upset about that." Jimin replied honestly watching the girls doe eyes look up at him.

"Why not appa? Do you not trust him?" She asked in wonder, making Jimin's heart melt.

"No, I do trust him. I just want you and Eomma to be safe at all times and I guess that got in the way of me agreeing." Jimin stated, making the little girl smile warmly at him.

"Then can you bring him out next time? I'd really like to meet him!" Hana asked excitedly, making Jimin giggle.

"We'll see. Now go cuddle Eomma and meet your new baby sister." Jimin said, making the little girl scream in excitement as she ran to his and Jungkook's room.

     The happy laughter coming from the room Jungkook and the kids were in put a smile on Jimin's face as he got up from the couch and headed to the kitchen to make dinner. He knew that he shouldn't have said no to Taehyung and was going to let them meet. It just had to be at a time all of them were safe.

     Not long after Jimin started cooking, Jungkook was hugging him from behind while the baby was asleep and Hana was outside playing with Sparrow and Sapphire. Jimin leaned back into the warm hug as Jungkook rested his chin on the others shoulders.

"Hey, are you feeling better now?" Jimin asked as he turned his head and gave Jungkook a peck on the lips after he asked his question.

"A little. How has working at the palace been?" Jungkook asked, knowing this needed to be talked about.

"It's................ it's okay." Jimin replied as he looked away from Jungkook and back at the stove where the food was.

"What did you do Jimin?" Jungkook asked in suspicion as he separated from Jimin, knowing that Jimin had blocked him out when he was talking with the king and queen.

"Ummmmmmmm................. I Love you?" Jimin replied with a sheepish smile hoping that Jungkook would change the topic.

"Don't try to change the subject and tell me right now what you did!" Jungkook demanded angrily, making Jimin shiver. It was at this moment he knew that he would 100% be sleeping on the couch tonight.

"I suggested that a special unit for each kingdom be created and they agreed to it." Jimin blurted out in fear but quickly placed a hand over his mouth.

"You did what?!" Jungkook yelled looking at Jimin who held his head down in shame, knowing how Jungkook had already felt about this.

     Jimin turned off the stove, leaving the food there as he walked down the stairs into the basement where both of their offices were. Jungkook followed behind wordlessly knowing they needed to talk about this in a place they knew no one would hear them.

     Walking into the office, Jimin went to one of the couches and sat on it as Jungkook shut and locked the door before taking a seat beside Jimin. After a couple minutes of the dreaded silence, Jungkook decided to speak up, knowing that the conversation was going to be a long and painful one for both of them.

"Explain to me why you want to do the unit's again........... You know how badly it ended with ours, why would you want to put the other kingdoms in a position where it might end up like that as well." Jungkook asked as he held Jimin's hand tightly, painfully remembering the memories of his unit's death.

"I know, but no matter how we look at it in that way, the fact is that it was and still is the best defense for our kingdoms and the other kingdoms as well." Jimin threw out making Jungkook frown.

"Can't we train all the soldiers how we trained the special unit? That way they all know how to fight and protect their kingdom." Jungkook asked, not wanting to watch the other kingdoms' only defense possibly be destroyed, making them all lose hope.

"You know that's not possible with some of the training techniques Jungkook. If it makes you feel any better I do plan on the soldier's learning the techniques they can. I......" Jimin stopped, not wanting to finish his sentence.

"Go ahead, I'll listen and won't Judge." Jungkook said encouragingly as he gently squeezed Jimin's hands.

"I.......... I think we should create another special unit for our own kingdoms as well." Jimin quietly said waiting for Jungkook to respond,

     Silence filled the room after the statement was thrown. A cold air filled the room as the silence lingered, both men stuck in deep thought. A strong mental battle going on in both of their minds. The deep frown on Jungkook's face was prominent, making Jimin worry about what the other male was thinking.

"I'll think about it and give you my answer before you leave." Jungkook stated, getting up from where he was sitting, as he walked to the door and unlocked it before walking out of the room and slamming the door shut.

"I knew you would be on the defensive side about this. I don't want a repeat either, but it's the only option we got." Jimin sighed to himself as he sat in the room by himself, thinking about everything they just talked about.

     There was one thing present in Jimin's mind though. If he was going to create a special unit for each kingdom that won't end the same way there's did, he was going to have to make sure the people were stronger than the ones before and thankfully he knew just where to start.
