Y/N POV
As my siblings and I laughed, I saw my soulmates looking in the freezer. Ice. Ha, like that will faze me.
"Bantakwethu, abalingane bam bomphefumlo bathatha umkhenkce," I say in Xhosa. (Siblings, my soulmates are grabbing ice.)
I hear the elevator in the background.
In the corner of my eye, I saw Luci shiver.
"Enkosi ngesilumkiso uKarael," He responds. "Ndiyalicaphukela iqhwa. Ukwenza le ndlela yam ukuba ndihambe." (Thank you for the warning Karael. I hate ice. Making this my cue to leave.)
"Ikati eyoyikayo," Rae Rae said as he left. (Scaredy Cat)
"Okungakumbi njengepussy!" (More like a pussy!) I shouted back.
He comes back with his devil face on. "Ndingumtyholi. Qhubeka undibize ngekati eyoyikisayo." (I'm a devil. Keep calling me a scary cat.) He says, trying to scare us. "Jonga okwenzekayo" (Watch what happens."
"Stop trying to scare us, Luci. You aren't scary. That is why we call you Luci and not Lucifer," I said, pulling out my angered angel stance to scare Lucifer.
I forgot other people were here, and it turns out I frightened them too. Nat looked truly scared, and I had scared Wanda to tears.
"Who is speaking in Xhosa, and who is the scary angel creature?" I hear a woman ask in the background. She was in a defensive crouch with an all-metal spear and two people behind her who looked slightly intrigued and scared.
"Okoye! Long time no see!" Rae and I say together. "Shuri!" Rae Rae exclaims while I shout, "T'challa!"
I had been away for so long that I had forgotten that the Wakandan King was my brother-in-law because he was my sister's brides brother.
"It's been too long, Mrs. Morningstar," I say to Shuri.
Shuri slapped me on the arm. "How many times do I have to tell you to call me Shuri, Karael?"
"How many times do I have to tell you to call me Y/N?"
"Good Point. Truce?"
"Truce," I say while turning to see my soulmates looking at me with Jealousy in their eyes.
"Everyone, meet my sister-in-law, Shuri Morningstar, Wife of Azrael Morningstar!" As I say this, all jealousy fades from my soulmate's eyes.
And then Tony ruined it by being himself. "Shuri Morningstar!"
