My Life As Vicki Donovan

REBIRTH

As Sasha opened her eyes her head started to hurt so much she felt like screaming. As she looked up, Sasha saw Ian Somerhalder (Damon). "What happened?" She asked. "I killed you." He said calmly and for some reason that place felt familiar to her so Sasha asked "What?" "You're dead." He said. When her head hurt less she felt shocked not by the fact that he said that she was dead but how when she looked at herself in the mirror and found that she was in Vicki's body. Then she connected all the dots and she knew she had to get out of there because he wasn't Ian, he was Damon.

"I know shocker, you drank my blood, I killed you and now you have to feed on human blood to complete the process." Damon(Ian) said. Wow, what a great explanation she thought sarcastically. She held onto an object and pulled herself up from the floor and despite her body shaking she immediately gathered her clothes and slowly walked to the door. He then said, "You don't wanna be out there all alone." Vicki(Sasha) still continued despite his warning thinking anything was better than being alone with him. Damon then vamp sped in front of her and said "It's about to get freaky."

"Get out of my way, I just want to go home." Vicki said, slurring her words "You're gonna start to crave blood and until you get it, you're gonna be very out of it, you have to be very careful." Damon said while holding her "Come on, move." She said after pushing him starting to get annoyed. "See you're already starting to fall apart." He said. She then thought maybe that's because I'm technically dead. Vicki paying no mind to his words kept on staggering towards the door. "Okay, but don't say I didn't warn you."

Rolling her eyes in her mind Vicki walked out of the room and headed towards the staircase. Vicki then remembered that Stefan's room was on the third floor which meant she had quite a lot of stairs for her. She held onto the wall and started walking down the staircase. When she reached the end of the stairs she then headed towards the door. When she finally reached the door she opened it and when she looked at the sun it felt like her eyeballs were on fire. Vicki quickly closed the door and even though the door was closed her eyes still hurt a bit. She wondered how the real Vicki managed to go to Gilbert house and then she remembered how Vicki was wearing sunglasses.

Vicki looked around and then she found a pair of sunglasses on a nightstand. She tried it on and opened the door again and luckily the sunglasses seemed to keep the sun from hurting her eyes. As she took a look around her eyes stopped when she saw a car that still had its keys inside. She rushed towards it and luckily for her, it was open. When she entered the car she exhaled a sigh of relief but then the reality of the situation hit her and she started crying.

Sasha had a long day at work so she watched her favorite show The Vampire Diaries and fell asleep during it. When she had awoken she was in the body of Vicki Donovan when she was in the process of becoming a vampire. Vicki was a drug addict she had to work to support her younger brother Matt and worst of all she was just a person chosen to explain the whole 'Turning into a vampire thing'. She was then killed by Stefan and so forth. Vicki's life was a horrible one indeed now she had two choices to die or to become a vampire and Vicki refused to die willingly.

Five minutes after crying Vicki(Sasha) started to wipe her tears away and said to herself that no matter what she was going to survive no matter what it took. She then went over her options she could change into a vampire by drinking from a blood bag like Caroline but she would need to go to the hospital and steal a blood bag without getting caught. So there was only one option left, Stefan Salvatore. She started up the car and made her way into town. After she arrived in town she realized she had no idea where the Gilbert house was located since they just directly showed the places.

While driving around Vicki suddenly saw Matt and quickly parked the car. She ran up to him and said hi, "Vicki! where the hell have you been?! Do you have any idea how worried I was!" He yelled worriedly while hugging her. Although he urged her to tell him what happened she said that she would after he took her to Elena's house. At first he was confused but since he wanted to know what happened he reluctantly agreed to her deal. On their way to Elena's house Matt tried multiple times to start a conversation with her but she just ignored him because she was afraid he was going to find that she was acing different. When they arrived at the Gilbert house Vicki ran up to the door and started knocking. Jeremy answer the door and immediately started to bombard her with questions but all she said was 'Is Stefan here.'

After he said yes she pushed him aside and walked into to house quickly. When she saw him with Elena she walked up to them and said "Stefan can I talk to you outside it's very important." Stefan looked at her with a confused face but eventually he nodded and asked Elena to wait for a second. As soon as they reached outside she asked Matt to give them some time together. After he left she turned towards him and asked "Are you like your brother?" He looked confused so she rephrased it "Are you also a vampire?"

Stefan suddenly grabbed her hand and had a serious expression on his face "How do you know that we're vampires." Vicki thought about her answer cause she can't exactly say it's because you're from a TV show. "You have to help me your brother apparently killed me and I have to feed in order to complete the process or something like that he didn't explain it properly to me." His jaw practically dropped on the floor in surprise but he quickly regained composter and said to wait here before he walked back inside.

When he came back outside Elena was with him and she could tell that Stefan told her about her becoming a vampire by the look of terror in her eyes. Vicki showed him to the vehicle that I found by the boardinghouse she told Matt and Jeremy that she would be back soon and headed towards the car with Stefan and Elena. On the way to the boardinghouse Stefan asked her all kinds of questions and she tried her best to answer them from what she knew from watching the show and Vicki's memories. Stefan drove into the parking space and they all went into the boardinghouse. Stefan and Elena went upstairs and left Vicki downstairs presumably to find Damon. A while after they went upstairs Vicki could hear the arguing of the to brother with Elena's voice.

After the arguing calmed down the three came down and Stefan was the first to speak. "Vicki I am so sorry for what my brother has done to you unfortunately you only have two choices the first is to just die or the second feed on human blood and become a vampire." Even though Vicki knew that those two were her only choices it was still disheartening hearing them out loud. She then came up to Stefan "Isn't there any other option or maybe I could just drink from a blood bag or something, please I don't want to die." Vicki knew that the only way to make it out of there alive was to plead to Stefan's humanity that he didn't lose yet.

After talking among themselves Stefan again began to talk "Okay we'll get you a blood bag but only if you promise not to drink from human blood again and follow my animal diet plan." "Yes, I promise I will never drink human blood please I don't want to die." Vicki replied now crying. He nodded and said that before that he had something to do. After Elena went home and Stefan went to his room which left her alone with Damon "That sure was anti-climatic wasn't it."

"Why did you do this to me?" She asked. Even though she was asking Damon she wanted to know why she had been sent here in this show "Because you just refused to die and you were quite fun." He said obviously not caring about her feelings. That got her angry, though some of it was at Damon the rest was at God or whoever sent her here, and took her away from her home it might not have been much but it was still her home.

When she looked at the time she saw it was 7:36pm and Stefan had finally come back. Vicki saw Stefan go outside and for some reason she too went outside. "Is something wrong." Damon asked sarcastically. Vicki shook her head and started to stare at the stars admiring their beauty. Then she heard a gun shot when she looked at Stefan she saw it was fired at his stomach. Vicki felt sick seeing it on a screen was one thing but seeing it in person was absolutely terrifying.

After Stefan fell to the ground she saw Logan Fell holding a gun probably filled with wooden bullets. She was so scared that she couldn't move as she saw him moving closer. He knelt down and held a wooden stake to his heart. Before he could stake Stefan, Damon suddenly came and bit his in the neck. When Logan fell to the ground Damon knelt next to Stefan and pulled the bullet out of his stomach. Meanwhile when Vicki smelt the blood she simply couldn't help herself and sank her teeth into his neck and drained him dry.
