I sat on the couch and thought to myself. Sipping my champagne, I watched Dominic as he scurried around the living room.
"Rhae, have you seen my papers?" he we walked into the kitchen.
"Maybe you left them with your slut." I sipped my champagne again.
He stopped and looked over at me with a menacing look on his face.
"Whatever, just remember that the contractors coming to start redoing the kitchen." he gabbed his briefcase off the table and walked toward the door.
"Yea whatever. Fuck you." I walked into the kitchen.
Walking over to the sink, I rinsed my glass out and put it into the dishwasher.
I walked upstairs and took a shower. I got out and stood in the mirror staring at myself. Staring at the person I had become.
A weak girl who stays with a man that treats me like shit. And for what. God I'm so stupid.
I shook my thoughts away and grabbed a towel to finish drying off. When I finished, I brushed my hair and walked into the bedroom.
I walked over to my closet and pulled out a pair of black jogging pants and a white t-shirt.
I'm gonna leave him. Leave him. I have too. I can't do this anymore. I can't.
The sound of the doorbell pulled me out of my thoughts. I walked downstairs and answered the door. What I saw when I opened it would have caused any woman to melt.
I stared at the breathtaking sight that was in front of me. Two handsome godlike men stood in front of me.
"Ahem." the blonde one cleared his throat.
"Oh I'm sorry. Hi I'm Rhayanna. You must be the contractors." I blushed as the took notice of my staring.
"Hi I'm Kai." the blonde shot me a genuine smile.
"Kael." the gorgeous brunette smiled shyly.
Shaking their hands, I eyed them from head to toe.
Their chiseled body's were evident as their bulging muscles showed through their shirts. The blonde had shoulder length hair, while the other has a nice low hair cut. They both had smiles that could make any woman cream in their panties.
"I'm sorry. Come in." I moved to the side and gestured for them to come in.
They came in and showed them to the kitchen.
"Well here you are guys." I walked over and leaned against the counter.
They both started surveying the kitchen to see what was wrong and needed to be changed. I sat down at the table and watched them as they continued to look around.
"Well ma'am we'll start right now if that fine with you." Kael said in a strong yet shy voice.
"Huh. Oh yes. That's fine. I'll just leave you guys to it." I said walking over to him and shaking his hand one more time.
"Oh and you can call me Rhae." I said causing him to smirk and his eyes to brighten.
I walked out of the kitchen and upstairs to my bedroom.
I guess I'll take a nap.

"Rhayanna, get the fuck up." I heard the voice of the devil himself.
"What?" I groaned.
I wonder if I kill him, I'll get caught.
"Why didn't you pay the water bill for the firm this month?" he grabbed my arm pulling me up of the bed.
"Why didn't you pay it? You have time to buy necklaces and go to hotels. Fuck off. I'm not in the mood Dominic." I pushed past him and walked downstairs.
I walked into the living room and saw Kai removing the countertops. He looked up at me and smiled lightly causing my stomach to turn flips. I smiled back before looking away.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?" Dominic said through clenched teeth as he walked into the den where I was.
"Look I don't care. Fuck you. You pay it." I said pushing him back.
He grabbed my arm pulling me towards him.
"Look you stupid bit...." Kai cleared his throat.
I pulled away from him.
"This isn't finished." he said walking upstairs.
"Yea whatever. Fuck you." I flipped him off.
I walked into the kitchen where Kai and Kael were working. They looked at me with concerned looks on their faces.
"Can I get you guys anything? Water or lemonade?" I asked breaking the awkward silence.
"Nah we're good. We were just about to leave." Kael said walking toward me.
"We'll be back tomorrow to finish the counter, then we'll start redoing the cabinets." Kai spoke up as he removed his gloves.
They grabbed their tools and I escorted them to the door.
"Bye. Nice meeting you both." I said as they walked out.
"Nice to meet you too, Rhae." Kai said in the voice of an angel as Kael smiled behind him.
I smiled shyly and closed the door behind me. The way he said my name caused butterflies to fill my stomach.
I walked upstairs into the bedroom and saw Dominic sleeping. I stared at him shortly.
I should throw a pot of boiling water on him.
I rolled my eyes and went to sleep in the guest room. I stripped out of my clothes and wrapped myself in the covers. I drifted off into a peaceful, well deserved slumber.
