To Tell A Secret

*Rayla POV*

Charlie and I are running through the hallways, trying to find a safe place to stop and rest.

Charlie keeps looking back at me, as I'm gonna disappear or something.

"I'm not gonna die, I promise" I thought.

After saying that to myself, I remember the conversation I just had with Charlie. "I can't believe she accepted me like that."

As we keep running, I look over and see a door with words on it.

I stop in my tracks. "Charlie wait!"

"What is it?"

I walk to the door and put my hands on it. The word "CLONES" on the door.

"Clones" I said, reading the words out loud.

"Like as in people Clones or something else" Charlie said.

I put my hand on the handle. "Only one way to find out."

I push the door open and see rows of tubes and... people.

"What the hell" I said.

I walk in more and bask in what I'm seeing.

Real people inside the tubes. Men and women. They all look so the same. Same skin tone, hair color, eyes, and face.

"What the fuck" Charlie ask. "They're actual living, breathing fucking clones in this very lab. It's like holy shit!"

"They all look so much alike, it's uncanny. They almost look like..." I said. "No, it can't be. Can it?"

I step to one of the tubes and see writing on it. Reading "7ak3".

"What the hell is this place?"

I look back at Charlie, she's looks like she's trying to figure this whole thing out.

I walk over to Charlie.

"What do you think" she said.

I look at the tube she's looking at, reading "9au1".

"I don't know" I said. "It's weird, but at the same time.."

"We should probably keep going. Maybe that slut with a gun from earlier will have answers" Charlie said. "Maybe we'll even catch up with Joker and that other girl along the way. I think her name's Jade?"

As Charlie leaves the room, I put my hand on the tube with the "9au1" on it.

"I feel like I've seen them before?"

I shake my head and leave the room.

As Charlie and I make it to the end of the hallway, we noticed a door.

I get ready to open but Charlie grabs me by the wrist.

"Wait."
