CHAPTER 1

Lucy's POV

"yo Luce! " Natsu called

"wanna tag along?" he continued

"sure!" I replied and ran towards them

we were walking but then Natsu suddenly stoped while at his phone in his backpack

"what's wrong Natsu?" Erza asked

"nothing ill just go back to our class room I think I left my book there" he excused and ran back I was about to follow him but he was already far ahead

*sigh*

after he left we just continued walking

"phew, finally home " for a billionaire its sure is fun to just walk it off

"tadaima!" I said when I walked in the mansion

"okairi hime " one of the maids greeted

"hime you have an appointment to attend to" my secretary Kinana said

"ugh... living alone is boring, I miss mom and dad"

"anyway what time is it?"

"5:46 hime, and the meeting will start at 6:30 so I suggest that you hurry up and change"

oh yeah I forgot I'm still in my school uniform and with that I hurried up the stairs and took a quick shower

after my little routine I walked down the stairs and looked at my wrist watch it reads 6:23 well I better get moving or else ill be late "call the driver " I ordered Kinana "yes ma'am " she replied and took the phone "hello Racer, get here ASAP "

*beep beep beep!!*

"that was fast" I said and walked out the door

"where to ma'am?" he asked while opening the door

"to Fairy Tail Inc. " I replied

"right away " he said and then seated at the drivers seat

moments later and we were already at the front of a huge building Racer opened the door and of course I walked out and entered the huge building "Ms. Heartfillia is it?" one of the secretary asked "yes " I simply replied " right this way ma'am " she pointed at the elevator and because Im a good girl I just followed when we entered the elevator she pressed the 26th floor it took us minutes before we reached the assighned floor "just walk through the hallway and enter the biggest door you see " the secretary guided I looked at her name pinned in the left side of her uniform "Mirajane huh anyway thanks" I thanked the white haired girl and walked to find the biggest door

after I found the door I seated at the chair in the left side of the table "am I the last one? "I asked "no, Mr. Dragneel is not yet here" Mr. Makarov replied few seconds later the door opened and revealed the salmon haired guy Natsu "sorry I'm late" he apologized "please be seated" Mr. Makarov gestured at the seat beside me

after the meeting I called out Natsu's name but he didn't turn around "Natsu?" I repeated but he still didn't turn around I walked towards him and patted his shoulder but he just slapped my hands off I was shocked and scared at the same time he turned around and gave me a scary look "don't ever come near me!" he shouted and exited the building when I looked around everyone looked at me with pity I cried all night thinking what I did wrong until I fell asleep

days have passed since it happened I've been locking myself in my room for days not eating and just cried until I just fall asleep from crying the next day I woke up by the sound of my phone ringing I picked it up and looked at the screen it was an unregistered number

"hello?"

(is this Ms. Lucy Heartfillia? )

"yes, why? "

(its about your friend)

"what friend?"

(Natsu Dragneel)

"why do you ask"

(apparently his in the hospital and wanting to see you)

it shocked me knowing that my best friend since childhood is in the hospital I hanged up the call got up quickly and ordered Kinana to call Racer while dressing up I ran down and got in "to the hospital quickly!" I ordered, Racer stepped in the gas and tried to drive as fast as possible my hair was still messy when we got to the hospital I ran out quickly not caring of what I look like I mean for Pete's sake its Natsu we're talking about all I know is I wear a t-shirt and jeans with a matching shoes

when I got to the counter I asked the nurse where Natsu's room is and ran there as fast as I could

when I got there I was too late he already passed away

"NATSU!!!"

I screamed at the top of my lungs and cried Erza on the other hand patted my back and handed me Natsu's cellphone "read it" she gestured but tears were still seen in her eyes I looked at the message inbox and read the last message he sent

" I did what you told me, I didn't come near her or talked to her so please just don't touch her I loved her since we were just kids"

that was the last message he wrote I looked at the sent messages but it was an unregistered number

"Gray, what happened?" I asked but he just looked at me for a few seconds and then replied " the doc said that some freshmen students found him in an alley knocked out cold " he did not finished his sentence and tears was once again falling from his cheek and my sights is starting to get blurry as well
