Reina's Point Of View

He was on my mind all night; how he was trying to reach out to say sorry but I wouldn't let him. He should have thought about what he did before he did it. He left me a kiss on my forehead and that's all that swarmed across my mind. He said something in Russian and I was too busy getting distracted by the kiss to even listen to what he was saying, Even though it punches a whole in my dignity and pride to admit it, he was hot when he was talking in Russian. I didn't know he could so it certainly took me by more surprise than it should have.

It was six in the morning; I needed a shower and then I would head back to work for the first time in a year. I knew that Ade and Ser had worked without a secretary because they were able to but now that both of them were leaving I needed one; so in advance I told them to start a secretary application so that I'll be able to interview them accordingly. The interviews were tomorrow starting at 2pm. The turnout would be huge as per every job vacancy application that I held in my company.

Towering over me within moments was my very own company, well built and successful screaming out to me. It takes moments like these to realise how far I have grown by myself, Denying my family's power made it a more worthy and all this without a man. A global expansion of my hotel around all seven continents; I am thriving on my own with no one except my girls' help. It truly is a woman's world.

The morning rushed pas quickly full of finalising the deal of opening two other hotels in New York without Jax's help. I needed some coffee asap and guess where I was going. There was a place downtown that I used to visit every day. It used to be run by a woman called Lola but she retired and Ser stepped up and took the place. So, now one of my girls had opened her bookstore/café shop and had stepped into the business world with a job she loved. I am proud of her and not to mention Ade starting her teacher training tomorrow. Ser said she wouldn't be in the morning but the café is opened by one of her employees. So, I decided to give it a go now that I was in a dire urge to get some coffee in my hand.

It was a comfortable shop looked small on the outside with a small entrance but the inside was huge with a whole section like a library but at the front there was a small café; it literally gave off dark academia vibes and was practically the aesthetic on Pinterest. I ordered a café latte and took it hot and for takeaway as I walked to the bookshelf. I automatically found myself running to the romance collection. She included one of my favourite book series of all time. THE OFF CAMPUS SERIES BY ELLE KENNEDY! A literal smile had glowed upon my face. Garett and Hannah were hands down by far my favourite couple. Instantly, I turned to the page when Hannah had used the vibrator on herself and Garett had jerked off. That scene was so very hot that my grin would not disappear for a few moments.

"The Deal by Elle Kennedy, eh?" a voice questioned while approaching me grabbing the book out of my hand and giving a soft short kiss on my cheeks. Narc. What the hell is he doing here? This man just won't give up. He doesn't understand that I didn't want to see him now or ever, especially not when my body was lusting for him to smash his lips on mine and fuck the hell out of me but it won't happen; not in this lifetime.

"Why are you here?" I asked huffing already losing the patience which I had possessed. It would just keep shortening whenever he came in the picture.

"I'm here to ask you whether you enjoyed the moment where Garret made her use her vibrator on herself while he jerked off or when he made the hand off campus wide rule for Hannah," he said with sly smirk plastered on his face. Wait, what. I was confused and a bit shocked. A big powerful mafia leader reading college romance. They always say don't judge a book by its cover but I am; a lot. I could just imagine him after killing someone to go home and read about Garett and Hannah's love story.
