"○○! Come quickly and have breakfast!"
"Yeaah---"

My mom called me to have a breakfast while I'm busy prepare my stuff in my bag. As I finished, I quickly went downstairs and I saw Yamazaki Rena one of my close friend already on dining table along with my mom.

"Ossu!" Yamazaki greeted me with her mouth filled with bread.

"Morning." I greeted her back as I sit on the chair.

Yamazaki always have breakfast with my family every morning since she live alone at small apartment near my house. She moved from Tokyo to this small area because her parents need to work abroad with my father. Our family already know each other because my mom is Yamazaki mom's friend since high school.

"You are so late today, what made you late today? Rena already waiting for half hour." said my Mom.

"Sorry mom." I grabbed a piece of plain bread and smeared the butter on it.

"Are you playing game until late again?" asked Yamazaki as she drank her milk.

"Hm, nah I didn't." I lied to Yamazaki because I don't want my mom to catch me playing games all night long.

Finally we finished our breakfast and I went to school together with Yamazaki. Yamazaki walked next to me as she busy with her smartphone. I peeked on her phone screen and she was playing a quiz game.

"Can you stop doing that while we are on the way to school? How if you stumble upon rocks on the street?" I said.

"It never happened to me, don't worry." Yamazaki smiled at me.

"What a crazy quiz lover..." I sighed as I smiled.

"It's interesting you know! Someone like you will never understand this." Yamazaki pouted as she still look at the screen of her smartphone.

"Alright, alright."

We kept walking to our school then on the junction we met a familiar figures. Her brown short hair and those vice school chairman badge on her chest, Akimoto Manatsu who were standing near street lamp.

"Hi Akimoto.." I greeted Akimoto. Akimoto surprised a bit as she saw us.

"What are you doing here, Manatsu?" asked Yamazaki.

"Oh, morning. I was waiting for the cat who always stand near this street lamp." Akimoto answered.

"Why are you doing that? Let's walk to school together with us." I invited Akimoto.

"You guys can go first, I'll wait a bit more for the cat." said Akimoto.

Judging by Akimoto looks, she brought a can of cat food on her left hand. She seemed want to feed the stray cat, as I peeked on Yamazaki's phone the clock showed 08:30 which means the school will starts in 30 minutes.

"You can do that later, first we have to go to school now! The gate will close in 30 minutes!" I pushed Akimoto's back to walk.

"Eeh?? Really??" said Yamazaki as she surprised.

"You have phone with you but you didn't look at the clock. Come on let's hurry!" I grabbed Yamazaki's hand then we ran together to school.

We finally arrived at school 10 minutes before the bell ring. Yamazaki separated with us because she is on B class while me and Akimoto are on A class.

"Good morning!" Akimoto greeted the classmates in the room while me directly went to my seat next to Shiraishi Mai the clever student in the class after Akimoto Manatsu.
