11/04/96 - Pauline's Birthday

It's Pauline's 15th birthday. I can't remember the day she was born, since I was only three back in 1981. I think she was a cute baby. 

"Sid, get outta my fucking room! I'm on the phone!" Pauline screamed as I opened her creaky old wooden door. I just wanted to give her a birthday gift. God.

"Good morning to you too!" I remarked, "Guess you didn't want this birthday present then," 

I grasped the metal doorknob and began to shut the door behind me, when Paulette gasped, "No! No, I do want the gift," She pointed her maroon-painted finger nail at her turquoise phone. The wire connecting the phone to the wall was tangled around her necklace-adorned neck. 

I nodded, placed the tiny pink gift bag on her wooden wardrobe, and mumbled, "Uh, maybe take that wire off your neck, you could like, suffocate, or something,"

"No shit, Sherlock. Why do you think I'm doing it?" She chuckled.

"Uh, I don't know what you mean by that," I said.

She rolled her eyes at me and grinned, "You don't need to. Also, you sound like Butt-Head. Yknow, from Beavis & Butt-Head." 

"I think I know that guy," I said, "Isn't he the one that says uh 'I am Cornholio! I need TP for my bunghole!' That guy is funny,"

"Wrong guy. That's Beavis, dumbass," Paulette laughed. 

I could hear her friend laughing over the phone, and stared at my feet in embarrassment. 

"Who're you on the phone with?" I interrupted the awkwardly long silence.

"Robin. The one from school," She didn't look at me as she said that, "She's probably coming over tomorrow. Or today. I don't know,"

"Count on today!" Robin yelled into the phone. 

I exited the room as Pauline and Robin laughed at each other over the phone, and stumbled down the hall to my bedroom. My room is like my escape from everything in the world. 

I have a Windows 95, and a Super Nintendo. I always like watching the Weezer music video on my Windows 95.

Speaking of Weezer, I have both their albums on CD! Pinkerton is better though.
