Elsie Granger

It was the last day of school and we were finally finishing our sixth year at Hogwarts. We had the last of our tests and assignments, so today was a relaxing day. Early in the morning, I sprung out of bed with more energy than I've had in the past month or so.

Oh and before I forget to mention, Draco and I both celebrated our birthdays by throwing a small party as we thought it was better than a large one. We didn't get each other gifts, but we were still appreciative of each other.

Draco also had an exceptional amount of energy as he had a bit of a pep in his step and was up making tea when I went into the common room. A lot has happened in the past few months, but mainly for the better.

We were all too busy studying for exams that we didn't have a chance to argue amongst ourselves. Today we had no classes, and instead were all attending school events. This morning was going to be filled with playing muggle sports, muggle board games, and tonight was going to be filled with quidditch.

The first quidditch game is Slytherin against Ravenclaw, the second is Hufflepuff against Gryffindor, and the last game is whoever wins the first two against each other.

Very quickly, Slytherin students flooded the common room before we all collectively went to breakfast. The seventh year students got a bit emotional about their last day of school and even more emotional about their graduation tomorrow. All that was on my mind was how soon it would be until I'm a seventh year.

I could do whatever I wanted as a seventh year student. Terrorizing the first years and telling them spooky made up stories until they have nightmares seemed to be my favorite of the options.

You can't be upset at me for wanting to spook them, it was tradition of the Slytherin house. When I was a first year student, the house elected a house president who then convinced everybody to terrorize us. I had nightmares about the stories for months afterwards. Every year since, we've elected a house president who keeps us all in order.

We all marched down to breakfast in our color coordinated outfits that the house president, Shawn Artglas picked. That was another house tradition.

Draco sat beside me and Enzo sat on the opposite side of the Norah.

"Crazy to think that Shawn got us all to wear these dreadful things," Draco laughed as he shoveled food into his mouth.

"Slow down or you'll choke," Enzo glared a sarcastic look to our side of the table, but directed toward Draco.

"If you want Slytherin to win the quidditch matches tonight, let me eat."

None of us had even tried to learn about quidditch, ever. It was foreign territory for everybody except Draco, so we just let him do as he needed.

Breakfast concluded and we all made our way to different areas of the school based on predetermined groups. Shawn was nice enough to put Enzo, Norah, Draco, and I together. All the groups made their way to stations of muggle sports.

Our group was first sent to a completely empty classroom where the Astronomy professor explained the rules for the game we would be playing.

"Dodgeball, a popular muggle sport where there are two teams who throw balls at each other. If you are hit, you must stand on the side next to me, and remember no magic is allowed. The last team or player standing is the winner."

It was a bit of a chaotic description, but I remember reading about it briefly in my muggle studies textbook a while back. Our side of the room was Slytherins and Ravenclaws and Gryffindors were teamed with Hufflepuffs on the opposite side.
