Chapter 7

Kai's POV

"Someone looks busy..." I teased. He's been doing a lot of school stuff lately. It's not very Taemin, in my opinion.

"Wanna hang out later?" I gave him a playful punch.

"Sorry bro. I think I'll pass." He answered.

"You sure?"

"Yeah. I'm sure."

That's weird. He didn't even look at me. He never said pass to hangouts before.

... Something's going on.

"Taem---"

Nah... I think its better not to push it.

" Ok. See ya!" I said as I walk out of the room.

My friends and I entered the noraebang. Man, this will be so much fun.

Minutes later, we were all dancing and laughing like crazy. Baekhyun-hyung and Chen-hyung were singing Touch my body by Sistar, while the others where dancing along.

"Taemin sure missed a lot of fun tonight." Suho-hyung said while clapping his hands, following the music's rhythm.

" Yeah. I tried to ask him, but he seems really busy." I answered.

By the way, Naeun and her friends were also with us. She was seated at the other end of the long seat with Eunji-noona beside her.

She's not talking to me lately. Well, she doesn't really talk to me that much since we broke up, and I'm used to it actually, but this....is different.

She avoids me. A lot. She doesn't look me in the eye like she used to. She doesn't greet me or call me oppa like she does with others. She's not the same Naeun I knew. Not the same Naeun I loved.

*FLASHBACK*

It was summer. My friends and I were playing at the beach.

"Hey Kai! Pass the ball to me!" Taemin shouted. When I threw the ball, unexpectedly a girl blocked Taemin's way. Moments later, she was on the ground, groaning in pain.

Oops. My bad.

I ran to her so I could help her get up. She seemed a little dizzy, since she can't open her eyes properly.

She had a small body frame. Pale skin, beautiful long hair. I've never seen such innocent eyes in my life. I'm not even joking.

" Gwenchanayo?? Are you alright miss?"I asked. The ball might have hit her really hard. She doesn't look alright at all. She blinked her eyes, hand on her head.
