Chapter 8

Taemin's POV

I stayed late at school to finish my project. I hope Kai's not mad at me. I don't usually say no to hang outs, and I really won't if I didn't have this project to be submitted tomorrow. My science teacher demanded it.

But the real reason is...

Since I had a crush on HaNa, I suddenly had this drive to do better in school. I have to admit that studying is not my thing. If I try to focus, i might even rank number one. But then again, that is too much spotlight on me. I like sharing too... (A/N-forgive our baby Taemin...he's like that sometimes...:3)

I admit.

I'm not good with time-management.

And honestly, that's all i need to keep up with my studies. But because I'm a total jerk, I don't do it.

But I'm trying to change that.

For Hana.

It was starting to get dark and I'm almost done.

"Ah...Just a little more polishing and I'm done." I stood up and stretched. My back is starting to ache.

I looked at my watch and saw that it was past 5:30. I went outside of the room to get some air.

When I turned my head to the other end of the hall, I saw miss Park Hana.

Padam..padam..padam...

Shes getting closer....

And closer....

And closer...

And...

"Oh! Hi, Taemin! You're still here? Its getting late." She said before I could even realize it.

What to do?? What to do??

"I..uhm...project.. science project. Yeah. " I said while I awkwardly scratched the back of my neck. 

"Avoid eye contact at all cost. I repeat. Avoid eye contact at all cost. " I told myself.

I might loose it if i won't. How could she be this close to me? This is not fair.

"I see. How about I help you so we could go together? Its not safe to go alone at this hour. And you know what? Maybe we could eat dinner together too. " She said while she lightly tap my left arm.

Am I dreaming? 

This is too awesome to be true! I hope I don't mess this chance again.

Dont stutter! 

Say something!

"Sure! Sounds good to me. "

NAILED IT!

"Great! So, what's this project your working on?" She asked.

Project?

O yeah...Project.

*FLASHBACK*

"Everyone, you are dismissed...except you, Mr. Lee. "
