The Argument

-⁛-

Percy POV

As soon as I got home, I immediately ran to bathroom and threw up again.

My mom watched as I threw up. She ran her hand down my back and comforted me.

After I finished throwing up, I took a long, hot shower. I was feeling a little bit better but still not good.

My mom tried to ask me what happened but I didn't want to talk about it. I could tell that my mom and Paul were worried about me but I insisted that I was fine. I went to my room. I was supposed to be doing homework but I didn't feel like doing it. Instead, I just laid  there in bed, hoping that my headache and dizziness would go away.

I was about to fall asleep when my mom came in.

"Hey," she said. "How are you feeling?"

"Fine," I said.

She raised an eyebrow at me. "Really? Cause the school nurse called today and said you passed out? And you threw up at Drew's house?"

I groaned. It's nice to know you could trust a lot of people around here. "I'm fine," I insisted.

She raised both eyebrows. "Fine. If you want to play it that way. I'll ask Jason, then," she pulled out her phone and called Jason before I could stop her.

"Mom!" I complained.

"Hey, Jason. I just wanted to ask you about Percy."

Jason POV

I was doing my physics homework when Mrs. Jackson called. Or Mrs. Blowfis. Whatever. I'm just going to call her Mrs. Jackson.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hi, Jason." she said.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Nothing. I was just wondering what happened to Percy today? He says he's fine but I'm not so sure."

So she called me to tell her what was happening. I was about to tell her when my phone rang. It was Percy. He sent me a text saying, Don't you dare tell her.

Then what am I supposed to tell her?

I don't know! Make something up.

I groaned. "He said he wasn't feeling well and then he passed out."

Percy started spamming me insults.

"Really? How did he pass out?" she asked.

"Uh...well...you see..." I stammered.

Percy kept spamming me.

"Drewdraggedhimoverandthenhegotdizzyandpassedout," I said in one breath.

I heard Percy groan loudly over the end of the phone. "Sorry, I didn't get that. Can you say that again?" Mrs. Jackson asked.

"Drew. Dragged. Him. Over. And. Then. He. Got. Dizzy. And. Passed. Out." I repeated.

STOP!

I ignored him. His mom should know how he was feeling.

"Great. Thanks Jason," she said.

"No problem," I replied.
