Plot: Charlie and Y/N decide to go to the movies, which soon turns into a little adventure through the night.

Y/N sat at his desk, letting out a long sigh as he tried to think of what to do. He had been editing for a few hours and wanted something fun to do, yet playing any sort of game at the moment didn't seem like any cure for this strike of boredom.

Checking their phone they realized it was about 6 in the afternoon, way too early to settle down for bed. Right before they gave up and decided to just scroll through YouTube, there was a knock at their door.

"Come in." Y/N sighed as they looked over at the door, seeing Charlie open it and step into the room. They couldn't help but chuckle a bit. "Let me guess, you're bored too?"

Nodding, Charlie slowly walked over and sat down on Y/N's bed. "Yeah, but I heard there would be some movies playing down at the movie theater tonight. It'll be the last showings of the night so not too many people will be there." He smiled a bit. "I wanted to see if you'd wanna go?"

Standing up and stretching, Y/N gave a small nod. "Sounds good, I've got nothing better to do." He smiled. "When should we leave?"

"Hmm.. about in 10 minutes, I'd say." Charlie said with a smile, before standing up once again. "I'm gonna get ready. I'll meet you downstairs, okay?" He added on, before heading out of the room.

"Got it." He said in response, closing his door behind Charlie and heading over to his closet to change.

He just grabbed some basic clothes, a pair of jeans, a shirt, as well as a jacket and a pair of decent shoes to top it all off. He didn't want to dress up too much, wanting to at least be comfortable while they were out.

Once they finished getting dressed they grabbed their wallet and headed downstairs, only to see Charlie already at the door waiting for them. He wore a long sleeve green shirt and a pair of jeans, just something casual as well. He looked up at Y/N with a smile, putting his phone in his back pocket. "You ready?"

"As ready as I can be." He chuckled and headed to the front door. "So, we walking or..?"

Charlie nodded and smiled. "It's not too far from here, walking couldn't hurt. Unless you'd wanna drive?"

Shaking his head, Y/N smiled a bit. "Walking's fine. Let's just go before the movie starts without us."

The two soon headed out of their apartment and began walking downtown, beginning to scurry to get to the movies on time. The next showing for the movies was in about 15 minutes, and they didn't want to just waltz in after they had already started.

It didn't take long before they made it to the theater, laughing to themselves a bit as they were lost in conversation. It took one of them nearly running into the side of the theater to snap them back to reality and realize they had made it.

Once they entered the building they both looked around, seeing what movies were playing. Honestly they hadn't heard of any of them, but were still willing to just watch anything for the heck of it.

"How about a horror movie?" Y/N suggested, pointing to the movie poster. "Could be thrilling."

Growing a bit nervous by the suggestion, Charlie gave a small shrug. "I dunno.. don't you think that's a little extreme?"

A cheeky smirk grew on Y/N's face as he nudged Charlie's arm with his elbow. "Aww, what's wrong? Afraid you'll get scared?" He teased.

"Of course not!" Charlie said, crossing his arms. "What do you think I am, a pussy?" He huffed. "Fine, we'll watch the horror movie!"
