(Third person P.O.V, with Meliodas)

Meliodas was about to leave the demon realm for the goddess realm, he wanted this war to stop, the goddesses keep killing innocent demons, when he was stopped by his little brother.

"Meliodas? Where are you going?" Zeldris asked.

"I'm going to stop this war one way or another." Meliodas told him ruffling Zeldris' hair, who batted his hand away.

"Be safe." Zeldris told him, Meliodas smiled.

"I will." Meliodas walked out the door before he made his way to the goddess clan.

He realized the mistake he had made when he tried to leave after they rejected the offer for peace when twelve goddesses surrounded him.

"What do you think you're doing?" Meliodas raised his sword a little higher, they only laughed at him before attacking. He managed to take down seven of them before they pinned him to the ground.

The goddess who seemed to be the leader walked over to his pinned form as one of the other four tore off his shirt.

"Elizabeth." The one who tore off his shirt called to the one who walked over, the goddess-Elizabeth- nodded at the other one before her hand glowed a burning white and she pressed it against Meliodas' right shoulder, he screamed at the pain that accompanied the hand, the goddesses laughter was the last thing he heard before his vision went black. He woke with Elizabeth standing in front of him as he was chained to a wall.

"Good, you're awake. The seal that has been placed of your shoulder is a control seal, if you fail to follow my orders you will be burned, do you understand?" When Meliodas didn't answer she slapped him across the face. "I said do you understand!" She yelled this time, he ignored her again, she left with a huff locking the door behind her.

Six weeks, that's how long Meliodas managed to ignore the orders he was given, six weeks before he was forced to give in, the pain in his shoulder that had been spreading throughout his body becoming too much.

"I don't know why you continue to fight it." Elizabeth had said one night on the fourth week. "It's only a matter of time before you give in."

He was forced to kill innocent demons, and worst of all, forced to aide in sealing the demons away.

It was another three weeks before Meliodas had watched as the seal closed with dull eyes, listening as his friends, his family, cursed him out with promises of pain when they got out.

(3,000 years later)

Meliodas took six of the lost and lonely into his crew to become holy knights of Britannia of course Merlin was there always watching him, making sure he wasn't breaking the seal or trying too. Being a holy knight had worked out for a while anyway until they were blamed for plotting to overthrow the Liones Kingdom. They escaped and scattered across the Kingdom, hidden away until they could return.

Meliodas wanted to crawl into a hole and never come out after Britannia, after Merlin had stolen the one piece of him he had left. She took it and hide it away, to her and Elizabeth he was nothing, he didn't matter. To the Demon realm he was an enemy. To the rest of the sins he was their Captain. Only now Merlin didn't watch him like he was going to explode, she left after taking it. And didn't return until ten years later. He spent every day of the ten years on edge just waiting for one of them to burst through his door, and he wasn't surprised when it turned out to be Elizabeth telling (read: ordering) him to gather the rest of the sins because the demons are close to breaking the seal.
