"Firstly, you gave your brother my number without my permission," Husna said, her eyes flashing with anger as she glared at Faiza, who was casually eating a burger in the cafeteria. "And if that wasn't enough, you actually invited him to my house?"

Wait.."hussy come again, she mumbled her mouth full of bugger."you mean yaya hameed got your number?!" and he even went to your house or what?

"Husna pressed her lips together,.."I don't think you're deaf"you heard me clearly right.why did you do that, did I asked you to give him my number.."?

"Whoa, chill out Husna! I swear on my honor, I didn't give him your number. I have no idea what you're talking about!" Faiza exclaimed, her hands raised in defense.

"Your brother came to my house yesterday and lied to my mother, saying we're friends. You know I don't want any male friends, Faiza.

Faiza's eyes widened in understanding. "Oh, I get it now! Firstly, I'm telling you, I didn't give him your number. And secondly, Yaya Hameed is a great guy, a total gentleman. What's your problem with him?"

"My problem is that he lied to my mother and showed up uninvited. And you enabled him by giving him my number, which you know I didn't want to happen."

Faiza shake  her head, her expression adamant. "I didn't give him your number, Husna. I swear!"

"Do you realize how lucky you are that he even wants to be friends with you? There are many girls who would love to get his attention, but he's not interested. I'm still surprised that he went to your house!" Try to see this as an opportunity, Husna. He only wants to be friends, and I assure you, he's not interested in anything more. He's my brother, after all!" Faiza added with a smile. "If you blow this chance, you might never see him again. He works in Cyprus and lives in Lagos, so you rarely see him as it is." he's not always around, so why not make the most of this chance and try to be friends with him?"

"But he's annoying," Husna mumbled , scrunching up her face.

Faiza chuckled and winked. "I know, right? But trust me, he's a heart stealer . So how do you find him handsome right.

"I suppose he's handsome, but I don't like him," Your family is all cute, by the way. Beauty runs in your veins.

Faiza giggled. "I know, right? I'm just happy we're going on semester break soon!" I forgot to tell you! I'm going to Lagos in two weeks and then I'll head back to Abuja for the break."

"Mmmm, that sounds nice!" Husna  exclaimed. "Let's head back to the department, I think it's almost time for our lectures.

Faiza nodded and dropped Husna off at the bus stop after their lectures finished at 5:00. Husna waited impatiently for the bus to arrive, growing frustrated as there was no sign of it. Just as she was about to give up, a car honked behind her, and she rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Can't they see I'm not even on the road? Stupid people acting like they own the place," she muttered under her breath.

Suddenly, she heard a familiar voice call out, "Tigress!" She spun around to see Hameed's car pulling up beside her. "Great, just what I need. He's following me here too," she thought irritably.

He  got out of his car and walked towards her, Let me drop you back."

"Thank you, but I don't need a ride. The bus is finally here." She pointed to the bus that had just arrived, but to her surprise, it was already full.
