For the purposes of this story, do not assume anything in the canon Wizarding World to be true. There are inconsistencies between this story and the published works to make my life slightly easier while telling this story. (I am lazy and don't enjoy doing obnoxious amounts of research and canon dives.) This is a simple 'young love and trials' sort of book. Trigger warnings will be at the top of the chapters.
