Chapter 1 - Daily Jobs

20th December, year xx89, Magnolia, Fairy Tail guild

Lucy's POV

Today as usual, fairy tail guild is so crowded, there are some members who throwing tables and chairs at each other. One chair flying towards me but gladly I can dodge it.

I sat next to Levy, we talked about the novel she lend me yesterday.

"It is a good novel, Levy-chan!" I said.

She nodded, "Of course! It's one of my favorite novels!"

We talked for around 10 minutes until someone called me from the guild door.

"Hey, Luce. Wanna go to some mission?"

Without looked behind, I know who called me, he is my bestfriend after all, Natsu.

He walked towards me and grab my wrist, he pulled me to the mission board.

I looked at the mission board and starts searching if there's any good mission for both of us and of course Happy.

"Natsu, Lucy. I think I have a good mission for you two," Mira called.

She pointed at a piece of paper she handed, I took the paper and starts read it.

"A mission in Miraii Island, to fight the monsters which already killed half of the peoples who lives in that island. The reward is 300.000.000 jewels. A S Class mission. Uh, Natsu, the reward is big but it's a S class mission and we must fight the monsters!" I shivered while looked up to face him.

He chuckled, "Why? The reward is sooo big, and you can pay your rent for.. uh, yeah for many months," he said while showed me his big grin.

I'm thinking for a while, but I nodded. "Yeah, it's a good mission, but it's dangerous. And make sure that you will do the mission carefully, I don't want any of us to be separate!"

He nodded and put his arm around my shoulder, "Don't worry, Luce. I will protect you and I promise we won't be separate!" He grinned.

I'm happy to hear that and blushed a little, his words make me feel embarrassed, but I think he is too dense to know that.

"Okay, just make sure you won't forget it."

"Of course I won't, right Happy?" he looked at Happy and asked him.

Happy nodded happily, "Aye!"

I smiled and give back the mission paper to Mira, she stamped it and give it back to me. Then, I, Natsu and Happy go to my home for preparing. We will go on the mission tonight.

"Hey, Luce. Do you wanna bring this underwear?" he asked while grabs my pink with blue line underwear.

"Yahhh! Don't try to touch it, you pervert!" I shouted and kick his ass as hard as I can.

"Gaahhh!" he shouted, "It's hurt, Luce," he continued and showed me his dragon baby eyes (well, he's not a puppy).

"Just.. don't touch it," I said slowly, maybe he looks strong and serious sometimes but now he's really cute ><.

He smiled, "Okay, okay! Now take your suitcase already, we headed to Miraii Island! Yahoooo!" He shouted happily and running to the train station. Oh, he forgot about his motion sickness.

"Aye sir!" even Happy flying fast too. That two -.-.

"Hey! Wait for mee!" I shouted while running too.
