"So let's debut the grand plan shall we?" Came Tommy's scraggly voice through your headset.

You were only listening in on the conversation, you didn't contribute because it might ruin Tommy's "grand plan" speech.

He had been talking about it non-stop all week and not even Wilbur could turn him off.

If there was even an off switch to Tommyinnit no one knew of it or dared not to touch it.

And probably with good reason.

Your thoughts had shoved you into a place where only yourself had mattered. You forced yourself out.

Out into the world again. Out discussing a plan that Wilbur thought was the worst idea possible.

And yet here you were.

You were honestly all for this plan, you agreed with most of it. So why not dive in head-first? Take a leap into oblivion.

"Well that failed."

You could see Wilbur's face crinkle into a smile as he joined the call.

He had seen the whole thing unfold and flop completely.

You had lost your balance and you tried to regain your footing. But everything your hands touched seemed to disintegrate beneath your fingertips.

You fell.

"I guess that leap wasn't worth it after all." You mutter under your breath.

He started to laugh, cackling with great humor, he couldn't contain himself anymore.

Tommy himself had died trying to fulfill the goal that he had established.

He died for nothing. Absolutely nothing. He sacrificed himself for a cause that had once been something, but in the way things turned out, had died and disappeared into thin air.

And yet when you lost you felt a great weight lifted from your shoulders.

It was you that had let everyone down.

But you didn't care anymore. It was a stupid plan anyway.

Wilbur was right. He wasn't often, but this time he was. He most definitely was.

He must've felt the aura you had been giving off because when he spoke his tone was gentle.

"Hey, it happens."

"I know." You growl lightly, adjusting your headset.
