The Sin-; Lucifer Morningstar

Los Angeles, California-

"Lucifer, I really need you to just cut it back today. We have a new team member coming in, from the F.B.I and that is one of the highest-ranking officials we've had in a while and she's extremely qualified and I really don't need you scaring her off." Chloe rambled, exasperated as she turned to finally look at Lucifer. Instead of being met with a look of understanding, Lucifer wore a smirk, lifting an eyebrow. "She? My my, Detective! Why of course I must introduce myself!" He chuckled, tucking his hands into his pockets, smiling smugly at Chloe. She let out a sharp laugh with no humor behind it, slapping her hand to her forehead as it shook back and forth. 

"That's really all you got out of all of that? You're impossible," She sighed, frantically straightening out her jacket when she caught sight of two officers walking a woman down the stairs. "This might be her," Chloe whispered, smiling as she held her hands behind her back. Lucifer raised a quizzical brow at the detective, turning to face the staircase. Unfortunately, he could not see the woman of the hour, all the cops within the department flocking over toward that area, creating a crowd. "Quite popular, are we?" Lucifer mumbled. This new member must be pretty important for everyone to be acting so on edge.

His thought was interrupted by Ella, moving so fast she would have tumbled into Lucifer had he not held out his arms to steady her. "Why didn't anyone tell me Special Agent Hendrix was coming to our department?!" She asked wide-eyed, almost seeming fearful. "Wait...Hendrix? As in...Hendrix...Hendrix?" Dan spoke suddenly, gaining a crazed nod from Ella. "Uhm, excuse me for interrupting your little moment." Lucifer quickly interjecting, a look of pure confusion on his face. Dan and Ella both turned to look at him, lucifer nodding happily that he gained their attention. "Why are you two so star-struck over this Nyx person?'' He questioned. He was the devil, for cry it out loud! He has known every human who has been important to be known since the beginning of time. Even assisting with the cause in most cases. Hendrix was said to be her last name. Perhaps she was related to the rock star? "She's just like, I don't know, the most prolific behavioral analyst um ever!" Ella explained, gesturing her arms out as if it was supposed to be obvious. "She has yet to not solve a case. Some she even solved just by looking at the crime scene and being given a list of potential suspects! Hits the nail on the head every time!" Dan added, a look of awe on his face. 

"Well damn, if I knew this would be the welcome, I would have left Quantico years ago", a smooth voice laughed, the group stopping in their verse, snapping their heads to look at Nyx who stood in front of them. Lucifer couldn't help but notice how his stomach felt light for a second, like the first time he ever flew. His eyebrows scrunched at the feeling, staring at the beautiful woman in front of him. Dan's face immediately went beat red, along with Ella's as wide smiles crossed their lips. Lucifer was even more taken off guard when he turned to the detective and saw the exact same reaction.  " I'm uh, I'm Detective Espinoza," Dan finally managed to choke out, Lucifer having to hold back a chuckle. It was quite satisfying to watch Dan all flustered. Dan held out a hand to Nyx, which she raised an eyebrow at. "I'm Ella! It's so nice to meet you, Miss Hendrix! I'm really glad to meet you! Wait, I just said that" Ella fumbled, shaking her head. Nyx suddenly began to laugh, throwing her head down, her dark hair falling around her before she looked back up to them. Again, lucifer adjusted at the feeling in his stomach. Weird, Lucifer wondered if the deli he stopped at for breakfast served some bad meat. 

"Guys, seriously, I'm flattered but I am not some hard-ass." Nyx chuckled, shoving Dan's hand out of the way before pulling him into a quick and friendly hug, doing the same to Ella. "My name is Nyx, as I'm sure you know. I'm the new Behavioral Analyst. I'm just happy to be here" She stated, pulling out a jelly bean from a pouch and tossing it into her mouth. Lucifer couldn't help but be slightly amused at the random action.
