Vampire!Dave x Reader

Don't judge me.. I kinda came up with a theory that the Striders are Vampires which gives them the ability to "flash step" and that's why they wear shades all the time. But that's just a theory that's most likely wrong but I think it'd be cool if it were true tho. So yeah.. Dave might be a bit out of character. And the picture above, if it shows, I think is cute. Anyways here ya go

No ones POV
Dave sits at his monitor thinking of what he just sent 'well there's no going back now' He thinks to himself. there has been something he's been wanting to tell his best friend of two years, Y/N, something that could officially ruin there friendship.. But oh no it's not like he's going to tell him/her that he likes them, even tho he does. He plans on telling Y/N that he's a vampire. Bro has told him not to tell a human about what he is. But he's so sure that Y/N will be different, that they'd understand. But on the downside he/she might be fearful of him and his Bro from then on. And he doesn't want that, it's the last thing he wants. He/she has always been so interested in the supernatural parts of life. Even the fantasy, like vampires, which they actually do exist. Dave runs his hand through his hair, messing it up a bit in the process, but he disregards it. He stands up and heads towards the door of his room, he sees Lil Cal sitting on his dresser. He freezes momentarily, uneasily looking at Lil Cal, then goes to open the door slightly. Seeing if Bro left a Smuppet trap. He shudders. Smuppets.. The puppets from hell.((i don't even know)) he sees that the coast is clear and he walks out of his room and reaches the stairs, blasted evil stairs. They decided to show him mercy today, he walks down the stairs. Heading towards the door, suddenly Bro is infront of him, blocking the door.

"Where are you going little man?" Bro asks. Dave shrugs.
"Nowhere really, just going to meet up with a friend"
Bro raises one eyebrow.
"Is it Y/N?" He asks Dave.
Dave sighs slightly sighs and nods, keeping his poker face on.
"Yeah, I'm going to go see him/her." "Alright."
He moves out of the way of the door.
"I hope you know what your doing." Bro says sincerely. Dave leaves the apartment and heads towards the park he asked Y/N to meet him at.

~a few moments earlier~
Y/N's POV

I sit at my desk, and I sigh. I wish I could tell Dave that i li-no love him.. But if I tell him it could ruin our friendship. I'm suddenly snapped out of my thoughts as I hear my pesterchum app beep at me, one of my chums is messaging me. I open the app

turntechGodhead [TG] began pestering chumhandle [CH]
[TG]: hey Y/N
[TG]: you there
[CH]: ¡ am now
[CH]: so what ¡s ¡t?
[CH]: what's on your m¡nd?

For some reason I sense something is up/wrong but I don't know what tho.

[TG]: oh nothings on my mind
[TG]: ...
[TG]: i was wondering if you wanted to
[TG]: ya know hang out
[TG]: its okay if you don't want to
[CH]: ¡'d love to hang out with you Dave.
[CH]: where are you wanting to meet at?
[TG]: hmm...
[TG]: how about (your favorite park)
[CH]: that's sounds great
[CH]: so what time?
[TG]: how about now
[TG]: if your not doing anything that is
[CH]: sure ¡ don't have anything else planned for today
[CH]: I'll see ya there
[TG]: and btw theres something that I have to tell you when we get there.
[CH]: oh ok
[TG]: yeah well see you there

I sit back in my chair, 'what does he want to tell me?' I think to myself. I change clothes and it to something more comfortable. I start heading towards the park.
~to the present~
Still Y/N's POV
I'm almost to the park and I see someone in the alleyway- wait is that guy sucking her blood, oh god. I accidentally let out an involuntary squeak. The said vampire looks my way, blood lust in his eyes. Before I even have time to react he has already grabbed my wrist and pulled me into the alleyway out of sight. I scream and he clamps his hand down on my mouth to silence the scream
"listen kid, I'll give you a choice, since im in a generous mood, let me turn you into a Vampire, or I kill you. Either way I'm satisfied" he smirks.
I can feel fear taking over my entire being, I never recall ever being this scared before. I'm left speechless. The vampire gets impatient
"choose, im not going to wait all day" he nearly growls and i whimper in fear. He finally gets tired of waiting and throws me to the opposite side of the alleyway. He had me up against the wall and threw me to the other one. I let out a shriek of fear as he approaches me. 'This is it... I'm going to die' I feel tears threatening to fall, and im not a cryer either..

Dave's POV

I keep walking towards the park till I hear a shriek.. 'Wait.. That sounds like-' my eyes widen under my shades.
"Y/N!" I yell running towards the shriek. I reach the alleyway slightly panting. I put my poker face back on. I see Y/N near a wall and the vampire approaching him/her. I can just about smell the fear coming off of him/her ((that's not creeperish at all Dave))
"hey! What are you doing here?" I yell to the vampire approaching Y/N. Trying to keep from freaking out, on the outside i look completely calm and a bit bored, but on the inside im just about freaking out.
"Well im about to have a meal" he replies. A growl rips from my throught, almost like a protective growl. I swear if he hurts-
"what? Do you want him/her? Well to bad this blood bag is mine!"
That was the last straw, I wasn't about to let him kill my Y/N. I lunge at the vampire, he's taken off guard and stumbles back falling to the ground when I tackled him, we bare our fangs at each other and snarl. We both get back up and glare at each other waiting to see would make the first move.

Y/N's POV

I look between you two, I start thinking that Dave is being reckless until I see his Vampire fangs as they snarl at each other 'Dave is a vampire?!.. And he's protecting me.' I watch you both fight, i, for some reason can't move, it's like I'm frozen to the spot. I look back at Dave, I guess he gave me a glance, because I could move again. But I can't bring myself to run away.. 'What if I run and Dave gets hurt?'

Dave's POV

'I wonder why Y/N hasn't ran away yet, I know I already unfroze him/her from the other vampire's freezing glare' I keep fighting the vampire, he keeps making lunges for my neck, I finally get tired of dodging and punching and I pull out my sword. The other vampire freezes momentarily, but then keeps on with his attack, I manage to slice some of his arm a small bit and he hisses in pain.

~time skip to after fight because author sucks at fight scenes~

still Dave's POV

I see Y/N still were he/she was when the fight began, he/she shakily gets to her feet. He/she wobbled like he's/she's about to fall, I run up to him/her and steady him/her.
"Are you ok Y/N?"
My voice holds concern. Not realizing that my fangs haven't retracted to human length. He/she just nods
"w-why didn't you tell me that you were a vampire?" He/she stutters barely.
"I-.... *sigh* I didn't want that fact to ruin our friendship"
I look to the ground. He/she lets out a soft giggle.

Y/N's POV

I giggle "the fact that you're a vampire doesn't change how I see you. I still love you all the same"
my eyes widen and i clamp my hand over my mouth, and I blush a darkish red. Dave looked surprised as well, his mouth is hanging open slightly, and if he didn't have his shades on they'd probably be wide. I uncover my mouth "i-i mean that it doesn't-" im cut off with a pair of soft lips touching mine, my eyes widen at first, Dave is kissing me! I finally let my eyes close and I kiss him back, my arms snaking their way around his neck. He pulls away a little to soon for my liking, but I see him smiling a bit, not his usual smirk but ACTUALLY smiling!
"I love you too, Y/N"
he says and kisses the tip of my nose. "I'm glad I finally got that out."
He looks at me with his red orbs- wait when did he take his shades off!! I stare at his red eyes, they show a bit of shyness and insecurity.
"You know Dave? Your eyes are beautiful."
He blinks twice in slight surprise and then blushes a bit.
"Thanks Y/N.. I love you." I smile at him
"I love you to blondie" I say as I kiss him.
