It was a rainy night and Max was laying in their bed on their phone while listening to music. She doesn’t really like rain as much as when she was little,it all changed when she turned 7.
Flashback
Max was laying in her bed when she fell asleep,it was about three weeks until she woke up in a bright white room. As she opened her eyes they looked around only to see flowers,cards,food,coloring stuff,and stuff animals. She looked down at her body and saw tubes and IV’s connected to her body.
She tried to speak but when she did she felt something in her mouth,she tried again and was about to cry when a nurse came in. The nurse noticed she was awake and walked over to her. “Hello dear,I see you’re finally awake”
The girl nodded and looked at the nursethen around the room the girl finally said something after a few minutes “Wh-where am I?” The child asked while looking at the women.
The lady softly smiled and said “You're in the hospital dear and I’m guessing you’re also wondering where your Family is huh?”
Max slightly nodded cause she still felt weak “y-yeah”
“Well your grandma just went to go do some stuff,she said she’ll be back in an hour with your mom” as the woman said that Max nodded which meant they understood.
That day Max found out she had type 1 diabetes which meant she had to watch what she eats and what she does or she'll end up back in the hospital,but little did the people know she was gonna be back a couple of more times in her life.
End of flashback
Here she is 9 years later at age 16,she’s been in the hospital about 6 to 7 times. One of the times was because when she was 8 she broke her pinky. She has been through a lot and has a lot of responsibility but due to that and other things she now has trauma,anxiety,and a fucked up life.
She has a therapist which kinda helps her coop but it doesn’t last long until her grandma comes home and ruins it almost everyday and every time Max is in a good mood her grandma comes home or calls and ruins everything,whenever Max is about to sleep or is half asleep her grandma wakes them up,about to do something her grandma tells her or does it for her,her grandma never listens to her,Max always feels out and unwanted cause of her grandma,but in three weeks is when Max’s life will change.
