"RUBY! PETALIA! THE FAMILY IS HERE!" Ms. Red yells up the stairs. Grabbing the two bags in one hand, holding Alice's in the other, we head downstairs.

"Mr. and Mrs. White, this is Ruby and Petalia. Petalia refuses to leave Ruby, so I hope you have space for them both." Ms. Red says to the family.

"Hello. I am Petalia. You are very lovely." I say sweetly to Mrs. White's daughter.

"I'm Adhara." the girl says blushing.

"Sir, Ma'am. I do hope that I can go with my dear Alice. She means so much to me." I say turning to the adults.

"We'll take her. We don't want Ruby to be sad. They seem to get along with Adhara so well." Mr. White says.

Looking over I see Alice and Hare playing. Adhara makes the perfect March Hare. Maybe we will find our Wonderland in this home.

"Petalia, this way." Mrs. White says. I follow her outside to a beautiful white truck. Helping Ruby into her car seat, i sit next to her since this is our first time in a car. She holds my hand tight.

"How old are you Petalia?" Hare asks.

"I am 16. You are?" I reply.

"Just turned 16 last week." she replies with a smile.

"Petalia, why is it you refuse to leave Ruby?" Mr. White asks me.

"I see Ali as my little sister. I have been there for her since the day she came to the orphanage, and she helps me with my PTSD and anxiety. We need each other." I reply in a dreamy voice.

"Ali?" Hare asks.

"Oh I'm terribly sorry. Ali stands for Alice. Alice in Wonderland. She is my Alice, I am her Mad Hatter." I explain.

"Maddy, I'm scared." Ali says.

"Its okay my dear Alice. I will be right here." I say turning to her

. "What if they hurt us again?" She says tears forming in her eyes.

"Oh Ali, I'm sure we will be okay." I say kissing her forehead.

"What is Ruby talking about?" Hare asks.

"Oh- that. It's no big deal. Just a past home issue. No big deal my beautiful Hare." I reply.

"Did you just call Adhara your hare?" Mr. White asks.

"Oh dear I did. I am terribly sorry. Its just Adhara reminds me so much of March Hare. And I am terrible with remembering names. I give people names from Alice in Wonderland." I reply looking out the window.

"And what would ours be dear?" Mrs. White asks.

"I believe you would be the Queen and Knave of Hearts." I reply.

"Isn't the Queen of Hearts evil?" Hare asks.

"Not at all my darling Hare. The Queen of Hearts is actually a good person, however people perceive her as evil because she does not love Alice as much as everyone else. Alice killed her beautiful pet. The Queen of Hearts simply wished to be as popular as everyone else." I explain.

We finally pull up to this beautiful log home. It has a huge glass window, two stories, and a beautiful flower garden. Looking over Ali fell asleep so I grab our bags. Taking her out of the car seat I follow them inside. Its as majestic as the outside. Is this what Wonderland looks like?

"I'll show you to your room." Hare says.

"It was originally supposed to be for just Alice, however we made space for the both of you."

"You called her Alice." I gasp surprised.

"That I did Maddie. Alice in Wonderland is my favorite book." Hare says.

"My dear Hare, you should be lucky. No one calls me Maddie except for my dearest Ali, however since you seem to love it as much as us, I will allow you to join us on our quest for Wonderland." I say kissing her cheek.

Adhara's face turned a bright red. She leads us to this huge door. I smirk thinking of the doors from Alice in Wonderland. Opening the door, I gasp. It was so beautiful. The room was a baby blue color with two white loft beds. There was a huge walk in closet, and a cute baby blue vanity.

"Wow." I sigh.

"Mom and Dad were hoping that if we chose a neutral color, then you would choose the color you want after you get settled in." Hare explains.

"Actually, I love it the way it is. Its simple yet beautiful, and thats all that Wonderland has to be." I say hugging her.

"Maddie, are we in Wonderland?" Alice asks.

"Yeah, my sweet sweet Ali, we finally made it to our Wonderland." I say kissing her forehead.

She gets down and explores the room, gasping at the beautiful dolls sitting on her bed I hadn't seen before.

"This really is a Wonderland isn't it?" Hare asks.

"For us, my beautiful Hare, this is wonderland yes." I say kissing her cheek before joining Alice with the new dolls.
