"Charlie, you look so beautiful," Jane said.
"You're going to be the most beautiful queen Wimbledon has ever seen," Beatrice said.
"Are you sure? The other ones seem to be awfully beautiful as well," I said.
"Of course we are sure. At this point they are ancient history," Penny said.
I can't believe that I'm going to marry Andrew today. I've never thought this day would come. With him having three other wives before me. One of them could've easily been the one. With him having a child with each of them.
"Lady Charlotte, we need get to the church," one of the guards told me.
"Let's go. All of Wimbledon will love you," Beatrice said.
Jane and Penny my train as soon as Beatrice says it.
In a few mere hours I'm going to be Queen of Wimbledon. It still doesn't feel real. I've never thought I would be a Queen.
As I step into the carriage that'll bring me to St. Agatha's church Jane and Penny put my train safely into it so I won't accidentally step on it. Since they'll be riding in the carriage right behind me.
As I get closer to the church butterflies start to shift in my stomach. Even though he says I'm the love of his life. He said the same things to all his other wives. I have no doubts about marrying him. Still it's nerve wracking marrying the king. Can anyone really prepare for something like this to happen. It's truly a windfall.
The crowd's roaring the closer I get to the church. Even though this has happen with all of his other weddings it's completely different when I'm the bride.
"Lady Charlotte, we're here," the guard said as the crowd is roaring out for my premise. I could barely hear him due to the crowd.
As the door of the carriage Jane and Penny came to the side of it so they can hold my train when I get out.
This is it. I'm going to marry Andrew. I can't go back now. It's too late since I'm here now. I can't back out now that I'm at the church. Not to mention that all of his kids are super excited that I'm going to be their new stepmom. I know that the girls had it hard the most not having their mothers around after their dad was done with them.
As I step out of the carriage I walk to the church doors. Honestly I don't fully care what the people says on how my wedding dress look as long as I get married to Andrew. He is truly the most important person to me. I know he cares about me. I want to be his wife and queen.
When I get to the church doors the world went silent for a second. Even if it's not actually silent I don't care. All that matters is that I'm going to marry the man that I love. I never thought that we could be together. Now that we are going to be together forever I don't have to worry about him leaving me. Besides what's the worst thing that could happen.
As the church doors opens my eyes immediately goes to Andrew. He is the best man I know. It still doesn't feel real that I'm marrying him. I just want to be his one true love.
My father came to my side as soon as I step into the church. I know that he's been waiting my whole life for this moment. Marrying me off to the king makes it even better for him. I would imagine that he is so proud that one of his daughters is marrying the king. Even though I'm the forth choice. Still I would imagine that it would make him proud that one of them is marrying into royalty.
Andrew has a grin from ear to ear. He hasn't seen me in my wedding dress until right now. It's apart of the royal tradition for no one to know what the wedding dress to look like until the dress. There is no expectations expect if there is a ruling monarch that is still alive.
