3rd person p.o.v
It was a bright morning, people were having a nice morning, well everyone except the Suzuki household. "Kana! Hurry up or you're going to be late for your first day at school" was what Kim Seo-Jun, mother of our eccentric main protagonist Suzuki Kana, was currently shouting up the stairs.
"Coming eomma!" is the reply she had got in return by none other than our favourite female soccer player. The reason Seo-Jun was rushing her out of bed was because she was going to be late to school, or that was what she thought.
Walking down the stairs at a leisurely pace despite her mother's warnings, Kana came down in her raimon uniform with a pair of shorts beneath her skirt in case there were perverts at her school.
Once she was down the stairs, she gave her mom her usual bright grin to start the day which made Seo-Jun stop her bustling around the kitchen to give a small smile back, her eyes softening at her daughter's smile.
As soon as she stopped, she was quickly back to running around the kitchen, not wanting Kana to be late for her first day. Meanwhile, Kana was rummaging through the pantry looking for something when she finally found it. Her favourite Choco Pie, it was a type of sweet back in korea that you could find in almost all the candy stores and supermarkets. She quickly took a pack and stuffed it in her bag.
"Here you go yeobo [sweetheart]" the blue eyed woman said while giving her, her lunch. "Thanks!" she said with her usual grin, that seemed to be permanent on her face.
Now that everything was settled, Seo-Jun took the time to look at her daughter. She looked almost exactly like her when she was younger, with the exception of her dark pink eyes. She was wearing the standard uniform for the girls in raimon junior high with shorts underneath, not that she didn't agree, she actually encouraged her to wear them beneath her skirt. You can never know if there will be perverts or not. Her pink hair was let loose, reaching around 3 inches below her shoulders. Her eyes had the usual gleam in them, almost as if they were shining.
The adult woman almost teared up, her baby was growing up too quickly for her liking. She sighed before speaking, "Do you have your bag, are your needed books inside, have you had breakfast, do you want me to drive you?"
Kana giggled slightly at the sudden barrage of questions. "Everything's in my bag, I'll have my Choco Pie and I'll be fine walking." Seo-Jun shook her head disapprovingly at her daughter's choice to eat something so sweet like that for breakfast. Her sweet tooth was going to be the death of her. Whose, she didn't know.
The older female quickly shooed her daughter out the door complaining that she was going to be late, to which the younger one nodded along with a more relaxed smile but with her usual energy in it.
Kana slipped her shoes on before walking out the door, the bento her mom made in her bag. Right before she fully slipped out the door she shouted out. "Also eomma! It's only 7:10!"
When she looked at the clock hung on her wall, she saw that her daughter was right and that she still had around 50 minutes before school started. But since their house was a bit far from the school, it would take around a 25minute walk.
Before Seo-Jun could whirl around and reprimand her daughter on why she didn't tell her sooner, she was already out the door. All she could do was stand with a small tick mark on her forehead, but you could see a fond smile on her face. 'Before I know it she'll be moving out and getting a boyfriend. If only she would stay young a bit longer' she thought with a small sigh before heading upstairs to get ready for work.
Meanwhile Kana was standing a few meters away from her house. Letting everything sink in before, "Yatta!" she shouted and jumped in the air with joy. She was finally going to her dream school, she was finally going to be playing soccer at said, dream school. She was possibly going to be apart of the inazuma eleven and maybe play with them.
