A/N: This story is set in LEGACY and the beginning of UNLOCKED. It contains major spoilers. The first bit is just after Tam is forced to join the Neverseen.

Lord Cassius walked past Keefe's room. Since Lady Gisela had taken one of Keefe's friends, he had refused to leave the shores of solace, rarely leaving his room. Lord Cassius opened the door, and saw Keefe sitting at his desk, drawing. Lord Cassius was about to leave, after all Keefe seemed fine, but then he noticed Keefe's expression. Keefe was crying.

Lord Cassius walked into the room, walking over to his son. "Keefe..." he saw what his son was drawing. Keefe had created an artwork of Tam. Lord Cassius immediately guessed how his son felt for the shade. "You like him, don't you?" he asked.

Keefe physically winced. "Yeah, and now that mummy dearest had forced him into her creepy cult, don't see why it matters." He snapped. Lord Cassius nodded. "I'll give you some time. When you're ready, do you wanna talk?" asked Lord Cassius. Keefe looked him, taken aback by his father's kindness. "Sure I-I guess." Keefe said.

Meanwhile, in the Neverseen hideout.

Tam was sitting in a corner, away from the other Neverseen members. He was hurting inside so much. He was alone from his friends his sister and... him. From what he could tell, he was in the same hideout Keefe had first been in. The thought of the other boy made Tam's heart flutter.

A tear slid down Tam's face, silent in the dark. One of the Neverseen came up to him. "You're Tam Song, right? I'm Glimmer." she told him. Tam shot her a filthy look. "Does your middle name start with a D?" Tam spat at Glimmer's feet. "What's it to you, scum?!" "Well when Gisela's kid was here, Rui told me he carved something that had the initial T.D.S on it." Glimmer said. "It over there. She pointed to the far wall.

Tam walked over. Glimmer provided a small beam of light so he could see what had been carved into the rock. "How do I know this isn't a trick?" Tam demanded. "1)What would I gain from that? 2) From what I hear about your friend, he's the only one who would call you bangs boy, and refer to himself as lord hunky-hair."

Because there, carved into the stone was two things. The first was a heart with the intials KS + TDS. And the second one said; LORD HUNKY HAIR 4 BANGS BOY. Tam blushed. "That's Keefe all right." "Let me guess, the feeling's mutual?" Glimmer asked.

"Would you distract Gethen and the other so I can talk to him?" Tam asked, barely daring to hope. Glimmer hesitated for a second. She nodded. "Fine, but only to support my fellow LGBTQ+ elves."

(Back at the Shores of Solace)

Keefe sat in bed. His father had talked to him, and was fine with him being bi. He'd tried to make Keefe feel better, which was probably a first. Turns out, Lord Cassius had been heartbroken over Gisela's announcement that she was a Neverseen leader.

Keefe sighed and rolled over. He felt his vision getting darker. Guess I'm sleeping now, he thought. But as the darkness grew more intense, and Keefe was still awake, he knew something was up.

"Keefe?" asked a familiar voice in his mind. "Tam?" asked Keefe, his voice nearly cracking. "Yeah, it's me." Tam said. "We needed to talk anyway." Keefe said. "You first, mine can wait." Tam assured him. "Wouldn't your info be more valuable?" Keefe asked. "No, you can go first." Keefe gulped.

"Tam, I've known this for a while now. I never told you, or the others, because I was scared you'd judge me. But I need to tell you. Bangs boy, I love you." Keefe said. "I know." Tam said. Keefe nearly fell over. "Wh- How?" Keefe stuttered. "I saw your carving;s in the hideout." Tam told him. "Forgot those were there." Keefe said, sheepishly. "Anyway, what did you wanna say?" Keefe asked.
