The luminescent light fell upon the alluring stage, and revealed three figures who were enveloped in the shroud of darkness. The entire venue's screams could be heard from miles away as the award ceremony comes to its climax. The three figures were only known by their achievements, and almost everyone knew of them. The first figure was wearing Stuart Hughes Diamond Edition suit, and to top off his fantastic suit, he wore the Stefano Ricci's Diamond Plated Necktie. His face was covered by a helmet of the "Blue Hood" from Owlman to hide his expressions. The second figure wore a dress. Her body was slender and perfectly shaped, almost as though a supermodel walked into the venue by accident. Wearing the Givenchy, her body was accented in such a way that would make all men swoon for her. To finish the black dress, she wore the mask of a black cat, only showing her luscious lips to the crowd. To finish off the trio, the third figure wore the Alexander Amosu Vanquish Bespoke Suit, and wore the "Oyster Albino" Rolex watch. His face was covered by a reflective mask, shining lights over the crowd and blinding them. The three were known as the Trinity of Gaming. The first of the Trinity, and the last introduced, is Absolution. Absolution was known as the legend of MOBAs. Be it League of Lore, Defense of the Primordial 2, or Villains of the Storm, whatever team he was on would go on to win the World Championships. The last team that wanted him paid $20 million for his service and contract that would last for only one month. Absolution has won a total of eight world championships in every MOBA and is considered the single best midlaner in the world. The next of the Trinity is Vexatious. She is known by many as the Gun Goddess, as every shooter she picked up was child's play to her. When Counter Clash: World Offensive, Underwatch, and Determinant came out, she didn't start playing directly after release, but instead watched the competition arise from the start. Nobody knew where she came from, or what year it was when she picked up those games, but she came onto those scenes guns blazing. Using her calls and amazing hearing, she took home over 45 major titles and costs $45 million for 2 months of her service to a team. The final of the Trinity is known as Jinzo. Known for his predictions and fighting game prowess, this man was known as the leader of the Trinity. Road Fighter, Immortal Combat, Queen of Fighters, Tech-em, any game that he can predict you, that game is his. If there was a split between reality and gaming, Jinzo has no split. Able to predict enemy forces and spies, Jinzo was chased all around America to be exploited for the military. Of course, they were too predictable and no one knew how to find him. Jinzo's name came from a card game where the creature was unaffected by traps, nor could a single trap get to him. His net worth is priceless, as no one knows his true identity but everyone wants his ability.
Jinzo approaches the microphone in front of him and pulls it close to his mask and speaks. At that moment, a man in the crowd reaches down in his pocket and presses a dial on his cell phone.
"HELLO EVERYBODY!" He shouts, his voice modified to sound lower than anticipated.
The crowd roars in cheers, listening to the first of the Trinity as Absolution approaches his microphone.
"We have quite the announcement for all of you!" Absolution reveals, his voice modified to be a bit higher than average.
The crowd, surprised by this sudden declaration goes silent, awaiting the beautiful voice they expect from Vexatious.
"And what an amazing announcement it is." Vexatious adds, her voice seeming as though nothing had been changed.
The crowd breaks their silence and cheers for their beloved Gun Goddess.
"Now, if you would be so kind, what is this announcement?" Jinzo asks Vexatious, adding quite the playful tone.
"Well-" Vexatious begins, but is quickly cut off by Absolution.
"I suggest you tell them yourself, Jinzo. They obviously know who you are." He delivers, with enough gusto to light up the entire venue.
Just then, a helicopter flies by overhead, and a SWAT vehicle pulls up to the venue.
"Well, seems like everything is going according to plan."
Jinzo turns and faces the crowd, his mask reflecting the light from the helicopter above.
"Well, the announcement is that the Trinity is dead. The gods of the gaming world are no more." He speaks, softly into the microphone.
The crowd goes dead silent, almost as though the death of the Trinity occurred right at that particular moment. One member starts whispering to the person sitting next to them.
"What does he mean?"
Jinzo, Vexatious, and Absolution quickly go behind the curtain of the stage. The crowd's confused murmur continues until they heard the sound of a large engine turning on. All of a sudden, a Bugatti La Voiture Noire bursts from the back of the stage. The helicopter sees this and pans its light over to it. As the Bugatti drives away from the venue into the open road. The SWAT vehicle chases after the car as the helicopter continues to follow it using its light. The crowd bursts into screams as they just realized what had occurred. The chase continued for another two hours until the Bugatti tripped on some road spikes. The wheels of the car popped and the Bugatti spun to a halt. The SWAT vehicle surrounds the car.
"Jinzo! We know you're all in there! All of you come out with your hands up!"
The SWAT team approaches the car. Although they knew Jinzo was best known for not using weapons to avoid capture, you can never be too sure. As they approached the car, Jinzo, Vexatious, and Absolution were busy changing. Taking off all their expensive items and placing it into their respective duffel bags, they were all ready to leave. The SWAT team finally gets to the car. The trio just finished packing the rest of their belongings. The SWAT team opens the car door. Jinzo opens the door.
"I wonder if we got those idiots?"
The SWAT team finds that no one was driving the car, and instead a location was placed into its automatic driving function.
"DAMN IT! WE LOST HIM AGAIN!"
Exiting the venue were three, ordinary, close friends. Jin Han, Vivian Gomez, and Shen Hamada laugh as they begin a new chapter of their lives.
"It went all according to plan."
