It is a good morning in the willow town in 2006. In a normal looking suburbs. There is a normal 2 story house showing another annoying info-mercial. While Esther finally got the last box from the moving truck. Thanking the driver before he left.

"Looks you finally got the tv working. So why don't you help me unpack Michael ?" She said a little tired.

"Come on. We can do that later since is barely our first day. Just come sit down and see if there anything good on right now."

She then sighed and decided to rest with him. Looking at the installed TV hoping to see something they both liked. Then they stopped on a news channel talking about an amusement park nearby.

"Wait ! Turn up the volume Mike."

He does so with some reluctance as he never been fan of amusement parks. Especially this one.

TV: "I am standing outside of carnypark which was home to the fun loving animatronics and rides for willow town. That is right. Was. As the place has been shut down due to unusual incidents that left the park buried in lawsuits slowly ever since the first incident starting around the 90s. The few workers and park owner where dismayed and sad to give this town the news but commented that it was the best decision to keep the old guests safe and what could of been new ones... an apology for not being able to see the wonders that was, carny park. This is bandy Sancroft. Signing off."

Michael  then decided to turn off the tv  after the screen kind of flashed the park a little and showed few animatronics before he saw the one: a crab.

"Hey. Why did you turn it off ?"

"Oh you know... Seemed there was nothing good in tv."

"Were you creeped out over the animatronic ?"

"Whaaaaaat ?" he scoffed "That sounds likesome weird kid stuff you know ?" He said chuckling a bit.

"Michael. I am your girlfriend so if you want to talk about it you can. But if you don't than that is your problem. Still, you better get ready for work then."

"Yeah... yeah.. I know." he said groaning a bit and get a little  more dressed up to his job at books-a-million. Small time bookstore within town. While his girlfriend does the same getting into a quirky uniform for her job at a mall in a cookie store. As they both walked to their car, Michael noticed a flyer in the windshield.

"What the hell ?" he looked around in case he could find who put the flyer before reading it. Having it be one of those carnypark. With a few weird red stains on the paper.

"What you got there Mike ?" Esther asked as she was getting in the car.

"Just a regular flyer that advertises the park but... if its closed why keep advertising it ?"

"You worry to much man. Just probably maybe like prepaid delivery before the closure happened." She said applying a little make-up while in the car. Michael the shook off the chills and bad feeling about this.

"Its only a flyer and with the crab is probably going to get scrapped.  There shouldn't be anything sinister happening in this town." He thought in his mind as he pulled out of the driveway to go drop off her girlfriend and have the rest of his day at the book store go quietly with him sleeping on the job since most people in town don't buy books often. He was however, in a nightmare about the park and him having to run around it as a giant crab was chasing afterwards trying to grab a hold off him. Just as he was about to be grabbed... he jolted awake in nervous sweats and a bell rang from the door saying a customer is here.

"AH ! Uhm.. welcome to books-a-million. What will you need ?" He said as he suddenly saw this awful smelling looking tall person extremely well covered and... a little wet to say the least. It then spoke in a weirdly deep toned voice.

"Where could I find books on robotics by any chance good sir ?"

"Uh... far back of the store. We have few varying types of them." He said struggling to keep calm and not decide to just run out of there to call the cops. As his stomach just turn into knots when speaking to him. However, the man thanked him and slowly walked to the back of the store which he then waited for over a hour before he picked a book.

"Will,  that be all ?" which the person then nodded yes and he swore to himself that he can hear a possible whirring emanating from him as he left the store with his book in hand. His worries than became frustrations thinking that his brain just putting horrible fantasies in his head as he looked for explanations of the interaction.

"Come on. You just woke up from a nightmare. The adrenaline might still be kicking in. As well as it could be lightly raining outside that might explain why he was wet."

He then took a peak outside to see that some clouds have came around and started raining where he was working. It slowly looked that the rain was going to disappear but the clouds kind of remained put in place making it feel a bit gloomier than usual. Those few seconds of peace made him a lot more calm and the rest of his day in the bookstore went without any other weird occurrences happening. Apart of Michael keeping himself busy doing small tasks to keep himself awake until he can go back home and complain to his girlfriend. After few hours, he finally was able to clock out and go to his car to pick esther. By then, the sun was going down and he was able to make it to the mall with no problem. He then quickly parked near the entrance of the mall and called her.

"Come on. Pick up. I want to just rest for this weird day today." he let it ring but it went to voicemail. He then sighed in disappointment.

"Guess she is working overtime again. Probably just need to wait a bit longer. "And that is exactly what he did. Waited for hours before he saw all workers leave and then saw the manager of said store looking a bit mad walking to his car.

"I better go ask what is holding esther back. Not like this is normal." He decided to leave his car and then walked to the manager.

"Who are you and what do you want ?" he said trying to find keys.

"Hi... uhm. I am Esther's boyfriend sir. Was wondering if you knew if she is still working ?"

"Working ? She left work hours ago. She didn't even clock out when she was supposed to so just tell her that this is my final warning when it comes to skipping work."

"Wait so she isn't working overtime ?" He asked a bit desperately.

"Don't act dumb. You probably helped her come home early. Just stop trying to convince me and go to where she is." the person then sped Michael still had questions to answer.

"Wait ! Don't leave." he said as he tried to chase card down but was futile to do so on foot.

"Dammit! This day cant get any worse." he said as he went to his car and called the local police department.

"911 what is your emergency ?"

"Hello I will like to report a missing per-" He the struggled to say words as he was being attacked from within the car and slowly being chocked out of oxygen.
