Everything has come to a head.
Maeve was still here in the basement. MG was on her duty. Everyone knew to keep me far away from her. It's bad enough she's still here.
Lizzie and Josie are still at odds but they realized they'd been lied to by their father. They're descended from a coven of Gemini Witches. When each set of twins reach 22 years old, they are forced to participate in something called The Merge. Basically is a battle of powers. Who ever has more power over the other in the end will win The Merge and the other twin will die. They've been coming to terms with that.
Landon is missing. He sent a voicemail to Alaric saying to say hi to Rafael and Jed. We can't figure out the last part. He's not friends with Jed.
Safe to say it's been intense.
All of us are preparing to fight. Locating Landon is our main priority.
Raf has been having problems keeping his wolf side hidden. Hope gave him a necklace that will cause him to change whenever he wants to but he would stay in his wolf form until Hope or I turn him back. It's just a spell so even I can do it even thought I'm not part wolf.
His eyes flashed yellow and he let out a low growl.
"Hey, you okay?" I asked him.
"Um, my mind still won't settle down. Look, I'm sorry, but I can't join the fight." He let out.
"Don't worry, we're not going alone." Hope said and pointed to Josie, Jed and Kaleb walking down the hall.
"Our squad answered the bat-signal." I told him.
Lizzie approached us too.
"She's coming?" Both Lizzie and Josie asked, annoyed with each other.
"I need all the help I can get, so please put your twin war on pause." Hope told them. They both just sighed.
Raf looked to Jed. "Why is he going? He hates Landon."
Jed is a meathead. But, he's more bearable now that he's not alpha.
"Look, you're the alpha. If Landon's your pack, that makes him ours." Jed replied.
"Where'a MG at?" Kaleb asked.
"He's on his way. He was on Maeve duty. Let's load up while we wait for him." I told them.
We went to walk outside to the car but we were stopped by a bunch of men. This is my worst nightmare.
"Oh, sorry. We were about to knock." The man in front mocked.
"Who the hell are you?" Lizzie asked right away.
"Name's Burr. TRIAD Industries."
Hell, no. Not today.
Right away, I tried say a spell but it didn't work. Burr just looked at me with an amused face.
