Chapter 2 :

The smell of pine leaves and oak trees were the first thing that greeted my slowly awakening body.

The scent is a large contrast to the sweet aroma of my mom's early morning breakfast with home made coffee, warm out of the oven bread and the febreeze odor of blooming flowers that blocked the stinky stench of P.J's sweaty socks.

I rose from the crippled position from what seems to be the bed and looked around the low lit room.

The walls were in a dark tint of some kind of color, my mind is still foggy and I can't seem to think right at the moment.

When my mind was a little bit clearer, I took in my observations more closely and noticed there is nothing much in the room besides the twin sized bed I'm in, a dark wooden door near the far right corner of the room and the only source of light in the room is the window on the left corner of the room with the little light the sun's rays stream through it.

Judging from the amount of light and coloration it's early morning, around early 8 or late 7 in the morning.

I looked down at what I'm wearing, feeling paranoid as it is waking up in a strange place, relief washed over me when I found my self with the night clothes I fell asleep in the night previous.

The loose white tank top with a cute blue carebear as, grumpy, and black baggy short shorts that have blue clouds and stars scattered all over its surface, plus the warm fuzzy black and white socks the always kept my feet from freezing.

I stood up, stretching my tired limbs, and begun to investigate further around the room trying to find anything that will help escaping in my situation.

I crouch down on the floor and pull up the black duvet of the bed to see what is below it.

A recognizable pair of fuzzy boots came into my eye sight, I took a hold of them and brought them towards me.

Black fuzzy surface, the shooting stars skyrocketing across it and the undeniable shoe laces with two big white cotton balls attached to its ends is without a doubt mine.

Very considerate for a person like him, I thought as I put my feet into the soft interior of the foot wear.

God I missed this, I finished when I stood and started walking towards the window.

The light colored drapes of the windows were held a little back but not far enough to brighten the whole room.

I tied them and opened the window, feeling the sudden warmth of the room overwhelm me, and breathed in the cool breeze scent of the forest.

Suddenly reality hit me like a ton of bricks,

What am I doing in a forest?

" What de hill" I whispered to myself as I looked out the window once again.

" This can't be . . ." My breathing hitched up, panic started to cease throughout my system.

I have to get out of here! My thoughts concluded and crept to the door, finding myself to be jumpy all of a sudden.

Slowly turning the door handle, a breath of relief escaped my lips when the door opened at the turn of the knob.

The temptation of running like my life depended on it was off the charts once I stepped out of the room, but knew better and slowly started to creep down the hall.
